MABIUS: ‘I’M NOT UGLY BETTY JERK!’
UGLY BETTY star ERIC MABIUS is sick of people assuming he is the same in real life as his womanising character DANIEL MEADE on the hit US soap, and wishes they would learn to differentiate between the two.
The 35-year-old, who plays the hotshot editor of Mode magazine on the TV series, is annoyed that fans of the show fail to separate him from his on-screen persona, particularly because he is happily married to interior designer IVY SHERMAN.
He says, "A lot of people say, ‘Oh, you’re that jerk on Ugly Betty.’ I don’t blame people for having a pop, but I’l like to remind them that I’m not Daniel."
