HOT FUZZ TOPS UK BOX OFFICE
Action comedy HOT FUZZ has shot straight to the top of the UK box office charts.
The film, starring SIMON PEGG as a high-flying police officer relocated to work in the sleepy village of Sandford, England, raked in £5.9 million ($11.5 million) in its opening weekend.
Children’s adventure CHARLOTTE’S WEB remains in second place, with romantic comedy MUSIC AND LYRICS pushed to third place.
Comedy spoof EPIC MOVIE is in fourth place, while part animated adventure ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES is at number five.
