ALLEN IN TEARS AFTER BUST UP WITH WINEHOUSE?
British pop star LILY ALLEN was left devastated after an argument with singer AMY WINEHOUSE following her Brit Awards loss in London on Wednesday night (14FEB07).
The SMILE hitmaker, who was nominated for four awards including British Breakthrough Act and British Album, left the ceremony empty-handed after losing out on the British Female award to Winehouse.
The 21-year-old was left in tears after allegedly confronting Winehouse, 23.
Allen tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "I had a real slagging match with Amy Winehouse. We had a really bad row. It was terrible.
"I’m miserable and I don’t want to talk about it." However, spokesmen for both camps deny any knowledge of a fall out, insisting the two are still good pals.
Allen’s spokesman says, "I don’t know anything about an argument. As far as I know, they’ve always got on OK." Winehouse’s people add, "Lily was crying because she was tired and emotional after her big night. They didn’t have an argument - they’re friends."
