BROADBENT KEEN FOR THIRD BRIDGET JONES ROLE
British actor JIM BROADBENT is adamant he will play a part in a third BRIDGET JONES movie if another sequel is announced - or wreak revenge on directors.
The IRIS star, 57, has played the father to RENEE ZELLWEGER’s unlucky-in-love character in the first two films: 2001’s BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY and 2004’s BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON.
And Broadbent is keen not to be overlooked if a third installment follows.
He says, "I haven’t heard anything about a third film yet. Although if they get anyone else to play Bridget’s dad, I’ll be furious!"
