The ‘Balls Of Steel’ host says his short-lived romance with the 41-year-old actress-turned-fashion designer ended amicably last year when they decided they were better off as just friends.
He told Britain’s Heat magazine: ‘We were dating, for a little while things were quite nice. And then they stopped being nice in that way, and we just became friends.
‘It was an interesting three months of my life. Well, two months. I don’t think she’d appreciate me adding a month. I don’t think I’ve experienced anything like it. It was fun but odd at the same time.’ Alex, 27, also revealed he was introduced to some of Sadie’s closest celebrity friends, including supermodel Kate Moss.
He added: ‘Kate was very nice. I had a good conversation with her about fishing.’

Felicia Culotta - who worked for Britney for over nine years and has been described as a personal assistant, chaperone, and a friend - has written to an internet fansite insisting the singer will hit rock bottom if she doesn’t get help now.
Since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline, Britney has been seen drinking, partying and was photographed without underwear on several occasions.
Her posting on Thatotherblog.com read: ‘I loved being with Britney for the past nine-and-a-half years. I enjoyed being a part of her dream.
‘I cherish all the incredible opportunities that came my way through my job with Britney and am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is unfolding.
‘I want you to know that we (as in her family and nearest and dearest - all of whom are not on the payroll anymore!!) are doing everything in our power to get help for Britney.
‘And we are doing all in our power to NOT pad the bottom, so when she does indeed hit rock bottom, she’ll stand up and walk away from this whole fiasco a new, confident, changed, career driven Britney like the one we all knew and loved.
‘To see what’s transpiring now makes me feel a failure, defeated. I loved and believed in what I was a part of for the past 10 years and was so incredibly proud of Britney and all she’d become.’ Culotta also says she has given up trying to save the star, after Britney refused any help and advice offered.
She writes: ‘There’s just so much you can do to help a person - I don’t dare want to be an enabler, and I cannot love her enough for the both of us. I cannot convince her in any way to love herself.

‘Chris has done it differently this time. He doesn’t like it when I talk about him, but I will say I think he felt that he had so much pressure on him for the last album, it felt like it was a product of a lot of different energies.

The friends share a lesbian embrace in the season finale of Courteney’s new TV show ‘Dirt’, but the two actresses kept it clean.
Courteney said: ‘There is no tongue and it is really not a big deal to kiss.
‘I am not saying, `Don’t tune in to watch Jennifer on the show,’ because she is fantastic and you get to see us together again.
‘But if you think it is just about a major make-out session, you will be disappointed.’ The 42-year-old actress also revealed she and Jennifer were constantly pressured to kiss by a former ‘Friends’ assistant director, who bribed them with the promise of letting them start work later.
She said: ‘Our first assistant director on ‘Friends’ wanted us to do it.
‘In order for us to get a later call time, the assistant director dared us to kiss once and we thought about it. For the whole year we would get a later call time. We didn’t do it, no.’ Courteney insists Jennifer, 38, is a really fun person.
She said: ‘Let me tell you. That girl cuts up just as much as the rest of us. She is very fun and she’s goofy and she is just a doll. She is a great fun person with a great sense of humour.’

The ‘Toxic’ singer’s request for a limited edition Heatherette clutch bag designed by model Lydia Hearst was turned down, because Hearst doesn’t think she is a good role model.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: ‘Britney wanted to go backstage at the Heatherette fashion show during New York Fashion Week to collect a bag and promised to carry it to her front-row seat at where she would be photographed with it. But there were only 100 bags and her offer was politely declined.’ Hearst said: ‘I’m only giving the bag to accomplished young women who are doing something positive to affect the world around them. They are women I look up to and respect, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway. "But once I gave birth, I didn’t want to think about myself or feel insecure about my career, I wanted to think about my child. So I stopped worrying about diets." The 29-year-old claims the industry standards to be thin have put even more pressure on young actresses and models adding, "I definitely think the girls look too skinny now. "I’m friends with (models) HELENA CHRISTENSEN and LINDA EVANGELISTA, and I remember Linda telling me that when she was a model (in the ’90s), a sample size was a six or eight. "Now a sample size is a zero or two. That’s pretty alarming. There’s a lot of pressure on (the models). It’s not healthy. I can’t even imagine what that’s like."

Items reportedly stolen from ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s Bahamian home in the days after her death last week (08FEB07) have mysteriously shown up at a South Carolina Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office of Horry County received two missing laptop computers, several hard drives, mini cassette tapes, papers, pictures and photos on Tuesday afternoon (13FEB07).
The authorities have declined to identify who turned over the items.
RON RALE, the attorney for Anna Nicole’s companion, HOWARD K. STERN, released a statement on Monday (12FEB07) regarding an alleged break-in at the home last week (09FEB07).
Stern’s reaction to the alleged burglary was captured by US TV news show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, who followed the devastated lawyer back to The Bahamas from Florida, where Smith died, at the weekend (10FEB07).
Rale stated, "When Howard Stern returned to the house… he learned that all of Anna Nicole’s personal items had been stolen. PAL ERDOSS, a Hungarian director whose movies were famous for their social themes, died yesterday (14FEB07) after a brief illness. He was 60.
Erdoss, whose films had features at the Cannes Film Festival, had won the Bela Balazs Prize for directors and received numerous awards for cinematography during his career.
He is best known for THE PRINCESS, COUNTDOWN, and TOLERANCE, which exemplified his documentary style of direction and carried strong social themes.
His last film, the 2006 release LADS OF BUDAKESZI, about the 1956 anti-Soviet uprising, was screened at the 38th Hungarian Film Week in Budapest, which ended last week (ENDS09FEB07).

The cast and crew on ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s final movie were given an eerie taste of things to come when she passed out on the set.
The actress, who is credited as a producer of sci-fi comedy ILLEGAL ALIENS, was found unconscious by her nurse in a Florida hotel suite last week (08FEB07) - just like when film pals discovered her on a backstage sofa last year (06).
In an exclusive photo, obtained by American magazine In Touch, a sleeping Smith appears, in costume, slumped on a sofa.
And Illegal Aliens set source says the crew thought the actress was just joking around but "when she didn’t respond we all panicked".
Illegal Aliens, in which Smith plays a ditzy earth visitor, will be released on DVD in May (07).
