CAMILLA, DUCHESS OF CORNWALL TO FACE MAJOR OPERATION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:01 am

PRINCE CHARLES’ wife CAMILLA, THE DUCHESS OF CORNWALL has been ordered by doctors to undergo a hysterectomy.
British royals Charles and the 59-year-old Duchess are due to undertake a nine-day tour of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates next week (beg19FEB07), but the operation has been scheduled for next month (MAR07) so as not to interfere with the official royal engagement.
A spokesperson for the Duchess insists the procedure is "routine", adding Camilla is not suffering from cancer, nor is the condition related to a gastric bug which forced her to cancel official duties in December (06) and January (07).
The spokesperson says, "The Duchess is to undergo a routine operation at the beginning of next month.
"It is scheduled to enable the Duchess to accompany the Prince of Wales on an important foreign tour to a number of Gulf states." Camilla will undergo the operation to partially remove her womb at the King Edward VII Hospital in central London next month (MAR07), where she is expected to remain for up to a week following the hysterectomy, with a further six weeks needed for convalescence.
