RESERVOIR DOGS tough guy MICHAEL MADSEN grew so tired of his cellphone he smashed it with a sledgehammer.
The actor was inspired to get rid of his modern communication devices by pal QUENTIN TARANTINO, who can only be reached by making a personal call to his Hollywood home. And so one day he displayed his hatred for technology by taking a hammer to his mobile.
He tells Maxim magazine, "I thought, ‘Why do I constantly have this thing in my pocket? I couldn’t get over the idea that for so many years people got along without them.
"One day I put it on the counter (at my home), took out a hammer, and smashed it."
