He tells movie news website MovieHole.net, "It’s like the fourth INDIANA JONES picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen.
"I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can’t say if we’ll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made."

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s partner HOWARD K. STERN met with Bahamian police officials this morning (12FEB07) to discuss an alleged break-in at the home he shared with the model/actress.
The lawyer returned to The Bahamas, where he has been living since the birth of Smith’s baby girl DANNIELYNN, over the weekend (10FEB07), leaving the remains of his tragic girlfriend with medical examiners in Florida, where she died last week (08FEB07).
And after spending a day with the baby girl he insists is his, Stern was all business this morning as he met with police.
According to website TMZ.com, police are keen to learn more about an alleged break-in at the mansion.
Stern has alleged that the owner of the house, G. BEN THOMPSON, broke into the premises and changed the locks after Anna Nicole died.
Insiders tell the website the authorities also want to question Stern about the September (06) overdose death of Anna Nicole’s son DANIEL.
Thompson and his stepson recently came forward with implications suggesting Stern flushed methadone pills down the toilet of the house in question shortly after Daniel’s death.

LATEST: Best-selling author CLIVE CUSSLER sued the makers of the movie adaptation of his book SAHARA because they ignored him.
The revered writer revealed producers of the action film flop, starring former couple MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY and PENELOPE CRUZ, went ahead with film plans without consulting him.
In a 2005 deposition read to jurors in New York’s Superior Court on Friday (09FEB07), Cussler said, "They were going ahead and producing it without my approval." Cussler is suing Crusader Entertainment, claiming the company breached a contract, in which executives gave Cussler "absolute approval" of the script up until filming began.
Crusader executives are counter suing Cussler, accusing him of ambushing the movie by publicly criticising the project upon its release in 2005.
One issue raised in court last week was the fact Cussler’s daughter, DAYNA, featured in one cut scene in the film.
Cussler’s literary agent PETER LAMPACK testified that he didn’t think producers ever planned to use Dayna’s scene, explaining it wasn’t part of plot and didn’t feature a named actor or actress.
The case continues.

NICOLAS CAGE’s first choice to play evil MEPHISTOPHELES in new comic book movie adaptation GHOST RIDER was gravel-voiced crooner TOM WAITS.
The movie star had his heart set on the DOWNTOWN TRAIN singer joining him in the new blockbuster, in which he plays a half-man half-skeleton fireball biker hero, until producers suggested his hero PETER FONDA for the part.
EASY RIDER star Fonda eventually landed the role of the motorbiking villain, and now Cage insists producers cast the part perfectly.
The MOONSTRUCK star says, "We talked about who was going to play Mephistopheles and originally I wanted Tom Waits, but the studio decided they wanted to go with Peter.
"I thought about it and I said, ‘That makes sense because who better to seduce a stunt cyclist to sell their soul than (Easy Rider character) CAPTAIN AMERICA himself?’ "Peter is the reason that I ride motorcycles. I saw Easy Rider and the next day I bought a Harley Davidson and went from LA to San Francisco and back and became Captain America in my mind.
"And we were there play acting together and there was this bike there and there’s Peter and he’s talking and I stepped out of myself and looked at the two of us and was thinking, ‘Wow, this is really cool. This is Captain America!’"

AMERICAN PIE star TARA REID is furious with GIRLS GONE WILD creator JOE FRANCIS for saying she was terrible in bed on US shock jock HOWARD STERN’s radio show.
Francis bragged about sleeping with several celebrities on the show, including PARIS HILTON, LINDSAY LOHAN and ROD STEWART’s daughter, KIMBERLY.
He said Hilton was the best, Stewart was "awesome" but rated Reid "worst of all." Reid ran into Francis at CLIVE DAVIS’ pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles Saturday night (10FEB07) and refused to speak to her one-time friend.
According to PageSix.com, Francis screamed, "Hey, Tara! Hey! Over here! Hi!" A furious Reid reportedly turned around and replied "Get away from me! Never talk to me again!" Actor HUGH GRANT is using all of the bad parts of his personality to create the creepy main character for his upcoming novel.
The NOTTING HILL star has been attempting to write a book for decades and insists it’s not going to be a Hollywood memoir.
He explains, "Listen, I’ve been trying to write that book for twenty years, literally. I’m now on page 26. "It’s slow. It’s not strictly speaking an autobiography. I’ve taken myself and I’ve extrapolated all my worst characteristics and created this kind of monster." Grant assured girlfriend JEMIMA KHAN the main character wasn’t actually based on him when he asked her to read excerpts.
He adds, "It’s fiction and I explained that to my girlfriend when I read it to her. "I said, ‘I just want you to know this is not me, this is me taken a thousand times worse’ and even then when I read it to her, she was so disturbed, she wanted to run for the hills. It’s dark."

BRITTANY MURPHY will give PETER PAN’s fairy pal TINKERBELL a voice in a new computer-generated movie.
The film, part of Disney bosses’ new Disney Fairies franchise, will be released late next year (08).
Murphy won’t be the first big name to play the mischievous sprite - JULIA ROBERTS played Tinkerbell in 1991 movie HOOK.

The Oscar winner is in negotiations to turn his comic book movie idea into reality and insists if blockbuster Ghost Rider is a big hit he’ll forge ahead with plans for a female HULK.
He says, "I’m working on She-Hulk and I’d like to see Eva play her. It would be her in a bikini just kicking a lot of ass, throwing cars. I’m trying to put that together as we speak." Cage is also keen to turn another of his favourite comic book heroes into a movie franchise: "I would like to see THE SUBMARINER come to life. I want to see the water and all the animal life."

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s mother VIRGIE ARTHUR has slammed reports she wants custody of her granddaughter - she just wants the baby to be raised by her real father.
Arthur, who flew to her daughter’s home in The Bahamas on Friday (09FEB07) to check on the welfare of five-month-old DANNIELYNN, has hit back at Smith’s companion HOWARD K. STERN for denying her access to the baby.
And the former police woman insists the baby’s real father is photographer LARRY BIRKHEAD.
She tells US breakfast show Good Morning America, "(Stern) won’t talk to me.
I saw him on TV and he said, ‘You’ll never see her (Dannielynn) as long as I’m alive.’ "I think Larry Birkhead is the father. I don’t have a problem with (Dannielynn) being with Larry Birkhead, I do have a problem with her being with Howard Stern." Arthur, who was estranged from her daughter, insists she doesn’t want custody of the baby, she just wants to make sure she is properly looked after. She adds, "I don’t want possession of her, I want to know if she’s in a safe place. I want them to do a DNA test and I want her to be put with her father." Arthur rubbishes reports she’s interested in the millions of dollars her granddaughter could possibly inherit adding, "The money has nothing to do with that baby.
"If Howard wants the money, give him the money. Just give us the baby." Smith died on Thursday (08FEB07) after being found unconscious in her suite and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

LATEST: Singer JOHN MAYER has found a new way to discourage reporters from asking questions about his relationship with JESSICA SIMPSON - by answering in fluent Japanese.
The singer was interviewed by US TV interviewer RYAN SEACREST on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards yesterday (11FEB07) and refused to answer questions about his personal life in English.
When Seacrest asked him about his rumoured romance during a live segment on the E! Entertainment TV network, Mayer answered in Japanese, and then told the probing broadcaster, "Find a Japanese person and decode it. Subtitle it. Then you’ll have your answer." Before ending the interview, Mayer told an amused Seacrest, "I’m very happy with what I just did to you" before walking off. Seacrest did have Mayer’s comments de-coded, which translated to, "She is very beautiful and you’ll be the last to know." Mayer, 29, and Simpson, 26, were photographed getting cosy later in the evening at the Sony BMG party, where Simpson’s father JOE joked about the earlier exchange.
When asked about his daughter’s relationship with Mayer he laughingly replied, "I’m answering in the father’s language, which is ‘No comment!’"

AMERICAN IDOL star KELLIE PICKLER’s father CLYDE is behind bars again in North Carolina where he is facing multiple assault charges.
The 20-year-old was a favourite in Season Five of the reality talent competition, especially after it was revealed she was abandoned by her mother and her father was serving time in prison.
Clyde Pickler was initially released from a Florida prison last year (06) after serving a three-year sentence for stabbing a neighbour. He is currently back in jail where he is charged with assault on a female, communicating threats and assault with a deadly weapon.
Kellie Pickler’s representative WES VAUGHN confirms the reports, telling American publication Us Weekly, "This information is correct and Kellie is aware of the situation. We have no comment." Her father is now being held on $20,000 (£10,000) bond and his next court appearance will be on 28 February (07).

According to legal papers obtained by EXTRA, "The Mother and Father will behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced. They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. "They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families." The children will primarily reside with Evans.
