TWENTY FANS TO ATTEND PRIVATE POLICE GIG

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:16 pm

Twenty lucky fans of THE POLICE will attend the reformed rockers’ private gig at West Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go nightclub on Monday (12FEB07).
Loyal aficionados of the ROXANNE band will be attending the 30th anniversary gig, where the band is expected to announce plans for a world tour.
Frontman STING says, "Sting.com has secured credentials so that 20 legacy members - those that have an unbroken membership since January 2006 - can be there to attend this historic event." The Police will perform for the first time in 23 years at the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles tomorrow (11FEB07). The band split in 1984 but reformed briefly in 2003 to celebrate their inclusion into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
