LATEST: Movie star and socialite ZSA ZSA GABOR’s former publicist has slammed claims by the 90-year-old star’s husband that he may be the father of ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s baby daughter DANNIELYNN.
PRINCE FREDERIC VON ANHALT added a new twist to the paternity battle over the child yesterday (09FEB07) after stating he has been having a secret affair with the actress/model for the past decade.
But Gabor’s friend and former publicist ED LOZZI has laughed off the Hungarian royal’s claims, stating the Prince is "a chronic fabricator who likes to inject himself into current events to see himself on television." But Von Anhalt is standing by his claims and insists he’ll fight for custody of baby Dannielynn if her partner HOWARD K. STERN or her ex-boyfriend LARRY BIRKHEAD are given custody rights.
The Prince also reveals he once attempted to adopt Anna Nicole and make her a true princess, but his wife of over 20 years refused to sign the paperwork.

Plans to screen ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s final film this weekend (10FEB07) have been scapped following the actress’ death on Thursday (08FEB07).
The movie ILLEGAL ALIENS, which is scheduled for release in April (07), was to be shown to journalists, but director DAVID GIANCARLO has pulled the screenings as a mark of respect for his late star and producer.
The film, which also stars former wrestler JOANIE LAURER, was forced to shut down production last September (06) when Anna Nicole’s son DANIEL, who is also credited as a producer on the movie, died from an overdose in The Bahamas.
Further screenings scheduled for next week (beg12FEB) have also been cancelled.

LATEST: Moviemaker GUS VAN SANT has agreed to enter an alcohol diversion programme in a bid to keep his driving license after getting arrested on drink driving charges in December (06).
The GOOD WILL HUNTING director was more than double Oregon’s legal alcohol limit when the vehicle he was driving through Portland was pulled over by police on 21 December (06).
Under the terms of his alcohol treatment, Van Sant will have to undergo an evaluation and education or rehabilitation programme for one year.
Van Sant pleaded no contest to the drink driving charges, but his DUI conviction will be dismissed if he completes the alcohol programme.

JIM CARREY’s new psychlogical thriller THE NUMBER 23 has sparked a slew of conspiracy theories connected to the figure - and the film’s marketing bosses are using them to promote the project.
In production notes sent out ahead of the film’s release on 23 February (07), marketing masterminds have come up with 23 reasons why the number 23 is a special figure.
In Carrey’s new movie, the funnyman gets serious as a man obsessed with the number 23.
The movie is loosely based on the `23 enigma’ which refers to the belief that all incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some permutation of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23.
The 10 highlights of the production notes list are:

Actress THANDIE NEWTON’s crippling fear of flying has escalated after a hellish trip to Los Angeles this past week (ends09FEB07).
The CRASH star admits she has never been more relieved to land after the plane she was flying to Los Angeles in flew into a patch of clear-air turbulence.
The British beauty explains, "The diffrence between that and normal turbulence is… they (pilots) can’t see it coming.
"Normally you see it (turbulence) coming on the radars… and you can go round it. You end up in the middle in the worst turbulence possible with no preparation.
"Everything went flying. I understood for the first time why you wear your seatbelt. There was a woman in the front that was wailing and crying. I was breathing into a paper bag… It was bad." Newton is now terrified about her flight back to London today (10FEB07), adding, "I’m hoping that the plane is just smooth… I have a feeling if we hit any turbulence I’ll freak out."

Movie star WILLIAM H MACY is set to make his feature film directorial debut after signing on to take charge of SALMA HAYEK’s new project.
The actor will direct KEEP COMING BACK, which stars Hayek as an alcoholic ex-stripper, who becomes a teenage boy’s obsession.
Shooting on the film, which will also feature rapper MOS DEF and STEVE BUSCEMI, is scheduled to start this summer (07).

Moviemaker MARTIN SCORSESE and the DUCHESS OF YORK, SARAH FERGUSON have become an unlikely movie couple after teaming up to make a biopic about QUEEN VICTORIA.
Ferguson, a long time fan of the English monarch, pitched her idea for a movie about Victoria to THE DEPARTED producer GRAHAM KING, who put her in touch with Scorsese.
Fergie will now produce the project, THE YOUNG VICTORIA, about the early life of the feisty queen, with King and Scorsese. Canadian moviemaker MARC VALLEE will direct the project from a script written by Oscar-winning screenwriter JULIAN FELLOWES.

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s mother has arrived in The Bahamas in an effort to look after the best interests of her late daughter’s baby DANNIELYNN.
Retired police officer VIRGIE ARTHUR jetted to her estranged daughter’s Caribbean island home on Nassau after asking fans of the model and actress to "pray for my granddaughter," on US breakfast show GOOD MORNING AMERICA yesterday (09FEB07).
Arthur, who was travelling with an entourage of family members, met with Royal Bahamas police upon her arrival in The Bahamas and sources close to the family claim she’s determined to make sure her five-month-old granddaughter is well looked after.
Family friends claim Arthur is hoping to gain custody of baby Dannielynn ahead of an upcoming DNA test hearing in Los Angeles on 20 February (07), when a paternity battle between Smith’s exboyfriend LARRY BIRKHEAD and her attorney/partner HOWARD K. STERN will be resolved.
Stern’s name is named as the father on the baby’s birth certificate, but Birkhead insists he’s Dannielynn’s biological father.
The baby is reportedly being cared for at an undisclosed location by a friend in The Bahamas.
Smith’s longtime confidante KHRISTINE EROSHEVICH (corr), who has spent time with Anna Nicole in The Bahamas, states, "The baby is being well looked-after."

ANNA NICOLE SMITH was making plans to wed her partner HOWARD K. STERN on 23 February (07) when she passed away.
The actress died on her way to hospital on Thursday (08FEB07) after her nurse found the model/actress unconscious in her suite at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The trip to Florida was set to be one of Smith’s final holidays as a single mum - she had set a date to wed Stern in The Bahamas, and invited producers of US TV news show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT to cover the nuptials.
Smith and Stern were ‘wed’ in a "spiritual ceremony" by the model’s former lawyer MICHAEL SCOTT on board a catamaran anchored off Blackbeard’s Cay in Nassau last September (06).
The odd ceremony, which was not legally binding, came just 18 days after the death of Smith’s 20-year-old son DANIEL (10SEP06).

JOHN LEGEND and British pop sensation CORINNE BAILEY RAE will follow up their Grammy Awards collaboration on Sunday night (11FEB07) by hitting the road together.

GWEN STEFANI is making plans to have a second child after she completes her upcoming tour.
The pop star plans to take baby KINGSTON on the road with her when she tours this year (07), and if motherhood continues to be a blessing for her, she hopes to add to her family.
She says, "It’s already on the itinerary… I’m ready to go." But the singer is hoping she doesn’t fall pregnant with husband GAVIN ROSSDALE’s baby while she’s touring - because she toured while pregnant two years ago and found it tough going.
She adds, "That was really crazy… I was in rehearsals and I’m like, `What is wrong with me? I am such a jerk right now,’ and then all of a sudden I found out I was pregnant.
"I couldn’t back out of the tour at that point and I was so sick… they had to keep expanding my costumes.
"And the smells of, like, the tourbus and air fresheners, yuck, so gross!"

The SHE DON’T KNOW SHE’S BEAUTIFUL singer listed his liabilities between $100,001 (GBP51,280) and $1 million (GBP512,800) in the Chapter 13 filing submitted to a bankruptcy court in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday (06FEB07).
Kershaw lists his assets in the same range.
Chapter 13 bankruptcy is available to individuals who pledge to use their available income to repay creditors.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS star ANTHONY KIEDIS had to ween himself off an addiction to Internet porn when he realised his obsession was becoming unhealthy.
Kiedis discovered his addictive personality was driving his seedy interests in cyberspace - and he had to stop before it became a major problem.
He tells Blender magazine, "When I finally got a computer, I discovered this limitless world of pornography.
"I realised the feeling that I was having was like the feeling that I used to get when I’d go score drugs. I actually had to make a commitment to myself to stop."
