GALLAGHER SLAMS POLITICALLY CONSCIOUS STARS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:43 pm

Outspoken OASIS leader NOEL GALLAGHER has blasted politically conscious rock stars THOM YORKE and BONO, insisting fans have no interest in their preaching and only want to hear their hit songs.
The WONDERWALL rocker insists Yorke’s bleak solo album THE ERASER, which has earned him a nomination for Best British Male at next week’s (14FEB07) Brit Awards, will do nothing to convert people to his cause.
Gallagher says, "Thom Yorke sat at a piano singing, ‘This is f**ked up,’ for half an hour. We all know that, Mr Yorke.
"Who wants to sing the news? No matter how much you sit their twiddling, going, ‘We’re all doomed,’ at the end of the day people will always want to hear you play CREEP. Get over it.
"It’s the same with U2. Play ONE, shut the f**k up about Africa."
