DUPRI MADE PRESIDENT OF URBAN MUSIC AT ISLAND
Producer JERMAINE DUPRI will be confirmed as Island Records’ new president of urban music later today (07FEB07), according to reports.
Dupri stepped down from the same role at Virgin Records in October last year (06), following the poor performance of his girlfriend JANET JACKSON’s 20 Y.O.
album, which he produced.
