BRITISH ACTOR GRIFFITH JONES DIES
Veteran stage and screen actor GRIFFITH JONES passed away last Tuesday (30JAN07) in London. He was 97.
The British actor - born HAROLD JONES - was a revered member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and starred in theatre productions of plays including MEASURE FOR MEASURE and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.
Jones is also known for his roles in movies including THE WICKED LADY and HENRY V.
He is survived by two children, actors NICHOLAS and GEMMA JONES.
