ALLEN ‘DAD IS FORCING ME TO GO TO THE BRITS’
LATEST: Pop princess LILY ALLEN has been forced to make an embarrassing U-turn after her actor dad demanded she attend next week’s (14FEB07) Brit Awards following her plans to snub the event.
Allen, who is up for Best Female, Best Album, Best Single and Best Newcomer at the UK music ceremony, wishes she hadn’t received any nominations because she’s not sure she can cope with the disappointment of losing.
But her TRAINSPOTTING star father KEITH ALLEN is making sure she attends.
She says, "I thought I’d just stay away for it and not be a bad loser. But when my dad found out I wasn’t going, he went mad. He said it would be bad form."
