THE BEATLES TO DOMINATE THE CHARTS AGAIN?

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:43 pm

Experts predict THE BEATLES’ hits will dominate the British singles chart when their songs are finally available for legal download.
Apple Inc is expected to get permission to sell The Beatles classics on its iTunes download store after reaching an agreement with the surviving members of the Fab Four over the use of the Apple name yesterday (05FEB07).
British bookmakers have made HEY JUDE the favourite to be the band’s first downloaded number one. A music boss tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "No one knows how powerful the sales of downloads may be. But half a billion pounds is not out of the question.
"If hundreds of thousands of people start downloading entire Beatles albums, the entire Top 40 could be Fab Four songs now that downloads are taken into account."
