SPEARS LOVES BEING SINGLE
BRITNEY SPEARS stepped out to support friend KIMORA LEE SIMMONS at her fashion show Friday (02FEB07) in New York City where she told reporters her newly single status was "awesome." Spears filed for divorce from husband KEVIN FEDERLINE in November (06) and has recently been romantically linked with actor and model ISAAC COHEN.
When asked by American publication People how she liked being single, she replied enthusiastically, "It’s awesome!" The TOXIC singer appeared in a slinky black dress and posed for photographers upon her arrival and was escorted to her front-row seat moments before the show started.
Kimora Lee, who is the ex-wife of hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS, praised Spears after the show saying, "Sometimes she gets a hard rap…(but) she is a very talented girl."
