Speaking at a New York fashion show last week, she said: ‘It’s awesome! Meanwhile, it has been reported that Britney, 28, is furious with Kevin for staying in touch with her family’s friends.

A source said: ‘He is still really good friends with Brian’s roommate. Brian isn’t the biggest fan of Kevin.’

The actor plays chain-smoking bondsman Jack Dupree in the new action film and admits the amount of cigarettes he had to puff on for the role have put him off nicotine for good.
He told People magazine: ‘The whole week that I shot, I smoked, like, five packs a day. By the time the movie was over, I was so sick of smoking, I just didn’t want to do it anymore, and I quit.’ Affleck, 34, is delighted he has a permanent record of the last time he smoked.
He added: ‘It’s pretty cool that I have this celluloid record of the last time I smoked.’ Affleck has also revealed that his actress wife Jennifer Garner broke the news to him that he had been nominated for a Golden Globe award while directing him to a dirty nappy.
The actor - who has a one-year-old daughter Violet with Garner - said: ‘I was very happy. My wife was up early with our child and woke me up to tell me I’d been nominated - and to get me to change the baby.’ Affleck eventually lost out in the Best Performance by an Actor In A Supporting Role category to Eddie Murphy who walked away with the prize at last month’s ceremony for his performance in ‘Dreamgirls’.

Heather, the estranged wife of Paul, was dropped by PETA after 37-year-old photographer Mary threatened to quit.
A source said: ‘Mary was keen to take photographs for PETA, which she has done in the past, but wanted reassurances that Heather no longer represented the group.’ PETA bowed to her request, and Mary will continue to work on the ‘I would rather go naked than wear fur’ campaign.
A spokesman for PETA said: ‘We have no further plans to work with Heather Mills. We are very grateful for Mary McCartney’s involvement on the new campaign.’ Mary has previously photographed Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and Sophie Ellis Bextor for PETA campaigns.
Her latest portraits feature British singer Jamelia, 26, posing with a rabbit.
Before Heather’s split from Paul last year, the former model regularly worked for PETA, protesting against Canadian seal culling and the fur trade.
Heather, 39, even stripped off for PETA’s 2007 calendar, but the photographs were dropped after her bitter divorce battle began.
Sir Paul, 64 and his family - who have worked with PETA for nearly 20 years - were inspired by Paul’s first wife Linda’s passionate vegetarian beliefs.

The ‘Dreamgirls’ star, who is promoting her latest album ‘B-Day’, expects her backing dancers to play for their own flights from New York to Los Angeles to rehearse for her upcoming tour and latest music videos, according to the New York Post newspaper.
A source said: ‘They had to pay for their own flight and work for a measly $400 per video.’ The dancers were reportedly too scared to complain as they were faced with the threat of not being hired at all if they didn’t comply.
The source added: ‘They were told that they couldn’t call their agents and that if they didn’t agree, they would not be hired.’ Representatives for Beyoncé have so far refused to comment.

The legendary filmmaker collected the prestigious accolade for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for his Boston gangster movie at the 59th DGA annual ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (03.02.07).
Remarkably this is the first time Scorsese has triumphed in this category, despite being nominated six times.
Discussing his award, he said: ‘I can’t believe this. I did not think I’d be standing here tonight.’ Scorsese’s win is seen as paving the way for his first Oscar win - something which has unbelievably eluded him in his 40 year career. The DGA’s are widely regarded as a ‘near-perfect barometer’ for the Academy Awards.
Since 1949 only six winners of the most coveted DGA prize have failed to collect the corresponding accolade at the Oscars.

The 65-year-old Oscar-winning actor was arrested at his Malibu home in the early hours of Saturday morning (03.02.07) for assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm.
Los Angeles County sheriff Lieutenant John Benedict said: ‘Deputies and paramedics were called to O’Neal’s Malibu residence at 12.30am Saturday regarding a battery that had occurred.
‘Deputies determined Griffin O’Neal, his son, had been assaulted by his father.’ Ryan was later released on bail for $50,000.
The ‘Love Story’ star’s manager, Neil Hassman, told US TV show The Insider: ‘He was defending himself after his son began wildly swinging a fireplace poker.
‘It is unfortunate that what should have been an internal family disagreement was escalated to the point that Ryan felt he had to defend himself from Griffin’s aggressive, extremely menacing physical behaviour.’ Hassman said Griffin’s pregnant girlfriend suffered minor injuries during the incident, and was treated at a hospital before being released. He claimed her injuries were caused by Griffin, 42.
Griffin - who has previous convictions for reckless behaviour under the influence of alcohol - could not be reached for comment.
Actress Farrah Fawcett - who dated Ryan between 1980 and 1997 and has a 21-year-old son Redmond with him - celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday (02.02.07). The actress has recently been given the all-clear from anal cancer. She was supported throughout her ordeal by Ryan.

The ‘Jagged Little Pill’ singer and her ‘Smokin’ Aces’ actor fiancé Ryan Reynolds, who were together for five years and got engaged in 2004, announced their split in a joint statement from their representatives Dvora Vener and Meredith O’Sullivan.
The statement said: ‘Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette have mutually decided to end their engagement. They remain close friends and continue to have the utmost love and admiration for each other.

After the party, Tori admitted she couldn’t wait to give birth, saying: ‘I’ve loved being pregnant, but I’m ready to give birth. I can’t wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms.’ Tori and Dean’s baby boy is due in April.

Film producer MICHAEL FINNELL refuses to work on a third GREMLINS movie because bosses at Warner Bros Pictures "don’t understand" the horror-comedy film series. Finnell produced 1984’s GREMLINS and 1990’s GREMLINS: THE NEW BATCH, and he believes the latest Computer Human Interaction (CHI) technology would make a third movie possible, but he insists Warner Bros will find it difficult to concoct a plot for it. He says, "They might do a low-budget direct-to-DVD version. Gremlins was governed by the technology that produced it. Now it would be CHI, and you could do anything. There may be places for the jokes to go. But you’ve got a company who owns the rights to a movie that they don’t quite understand. "I think it’s going to be difficult for them to make another one".

"I realise that if I put any chemical in my body that I’m going to have an allergic reaction, and it’s going to take me back, and I don’t want to go back.
"I’ve felt a lot of shame and guilt for some of the things that I’ve done in my past. I really had to sit down and have a good, hard look at myself. There were a lot of things that weren’t right, that weren’t good. And so I had to fix them. And, you know, I’m never going to be fixed.
"A drug is a drug is a drug, regardless of what you take, whether it’s coke or whether it’s anything. Some will say, ‘I want to use it for energy,’ or ‘I’m going to use this to calm my nerves.’ You need to learn how to do these things yourself, because I didn’t."

Director JOEL SCHUMACHER has criticised Warner Bros Pictures for deciding to make a direct-to-DVD sequel to his 1987 vampire flick THE LOST BOYS.
The veteran film-maker has been trying to convince the studio to make an all-female spin-off for years, but he insists the straight sequel will be a disaster because all the characters from the original movie are either dead or too old to appear in a second movie. He says, "I told them to do THE LOST GIRLS and not do a The Lost Boys sequel.
There is no The Lost Boys sequel. All the boys are dead. The Two COREYS (HAIM and FELDMAN) are too old. So what would be the movie? You’d have to make up a whole new set of characters.
"I said, ‘Do gorgeous teenage biker chicks who are vampires. It’ll be great.’ But they don’t listen to me." THE LOST BOYS 2 will be filmed in San Diego, California later this year (07).
