SINGER BILLY HENDERSON DIES
American singer BILLY HENDERSON died in hospital in Daytona, Florida on Friday (02FEB07) from complications related to diabetes. He was 67.
Henderson found fame in the 1960s and 1970s with his group THE SPINNERS, and scored a series of hits with songs including I’LL BE AROUND, COULD IT BE I’M FALLING IN LOVE and THEN CAME YOU.
Henderson continued to perform with The Spinners until 2004 when he was sacked after suing the group’s business manager.
