MARGERA CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING MINORS
VINCENT ‘DON VITO’ MARGERA has been ordered to stand trial after being charged with three counts of sexual assault against children.
The uncle of VIVA LA BAM star BAM MARGERA has been accused of groping three underage girls at an MTV promotional appearance for the reality TV show, and will face trial in March (07).
According to prosecutor ZACH PHILLIPS at a preliminary hearing, the three girls - two aged 12 and one 14 - had gone to meet Margera to get autographs and have their picture taken with the star when he groped them.
Statements from the girls and photos from their camera phones were presented as evidence at the hearing. Fifty-year-old Margera was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child and if convicted could face up to six years in prison.
MARGERA will appear in court on 5 March (07), but is currently free on $50,000 (£25,641) bail.
