DALTREY CREDITS FUNGUS WITH GIVING HIM LONGEVITY
THE WHO frontman ROGER DALTREY has revealed the secret behind his longevity - a jelly-like fungus used by ancient warriors to boost energy levels.
The 62-year-old reteamed last year (06) with PETE TOWNSHEND, the band’s only other surviving member, for The Who’s first new album and world tour in over two decades.
And he insists Kombucha - a detoxifying fungus taken in a yeast and bacteria tea - fuels his age-defying stage performances.
He says, "It’s things like Kombucha that keep me going… To be doing it at my age, this is brilliant." (SC/WNWP/GES) WENN - THIRD - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 2 FEBRUARY 2007
