CROWE TO STAR IN ALTERNATIVE ROBIN HOOD
RUSSELL CROWE is set to play a good SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM in an alternative movie version of ROBIN HOOD.
Universal Pictures has won a bidding war to take the project to the big screen and Crowe is reportedly already attached to play the Sheriff, who investigates a series of murders, with Robin Hood as prime suspect.
The idea has been developed by SLEEPER CELL creators ETHAN REIFF and CYRUS VORIS.
No director has been hired, but BRYAN SINGER, SAM RAIMI and RIDLEY SCOTT who has directed Crowe in a number of films - are reportedly interested.
