Pop star BRITNEY SPEARS is back in Las Vegas to work on her upcoming album in a recording studio at the Palms Casino Resort.
The TOXIC singer recently spent a romantic weekend at the resort with new boyfriend ISAAC COHEN, but this time she was accompanied by her two sons, SEAN PRESTON, one, and JAYDEN JAMES, four months.
The 25-year-old and her family arrived late on Tuesday night (30JAN07) and will be staying in a $25,000 (£13,000) suite at the hotel, complete with Jacuzzi, rotating bed and Infiniti pool.
Spears will be working with top producer LUKASZ GOTTWALD, who has collaborated with KELLY CLARKSON, MOS DEF, MISSY ELLIOTT and KELIS.
The star’s manager, LARRY RUDOLPH, said earlier this month (JAN07) that Spears is halfway through recording her new CD, which is expected to be released this autumn.

Expectant mum TORI SPELLING hasn’t registered for traditional baby gifts and will instead have a baby shower hosted by plastic container company Tupperware.

Former SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE cast member AL FRANKEN will run for the US Senate in Minnesota in 2008.
A senior Democratic official from Minnesota confirmed the comedian has decided to run for office, but he has not made an official announcement.
The 55-year-old has been calling members of the Minnesota congressional delegation to get their advice on his candidacy.
He announced this week (begs29JAN07) he would be leaving his show on Air America Radio on 14 February (07), and told listeners he would be making a decision soon on his run for office.
Franken will take on Republican NORM COLEMAN, a first-term senator who is among the Democrats’ top targets.
In addition to his work on Saturday Night Live, he has also written several best-selling books combining humour and politics.

MEG RYAN and MATTHEW PERRY have sparked rumours they are romantically involved after being seen getting cosy in Los Angeles.
The former FRIENDS star has been a regular guest at the actress’ gated home in Bel Air, California.

PAMELA ANDERSON and KID ROCK are officially divorced after being married for just four months.
The former BAYWATCH star and the singer - real name ROBERT RITCHIE - filed for divorce in November (06).
The couple held a wedding ceremony on 29 July (06) on a yacht in St Tropez, France and Anderson later described the event as "The best most romantic wedding of all time".
According to court documents, neither party will be legally allowed to marry others until after 28 May (07), due to a minimum six-month waiting period.
Anderson, 39, and Kid Rock, 36, have both waived any claims for spousal support.
Just days after the couple split, Anderson wrote on her website that Rock "is great in many ways, we just don’t belong together. A US fast food chain has offered to give KEVIN FEDERLINE a job after he played a fry cook in a new TV commercial.
BRITNEY SPEARS’ estranged husband has been invited to work at Mexican restaurant Taco Bell by the company’s president GREG CREED.
Creed has promised to give away free food to customers if Federline comes and works at the chain for only a one-hour shift.
In an interview last year (06), Federline said, "My kids are going to have to learn what a real job is, what life is. You don’t have it easy with me. Period.
My kids are going to work at Taco Bell." In his letter to Federline, Creed referenced the quote and invited him to see for himself what a great company his sons will work for.
The 28-year-old has not yet replied to the company’s offer.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE celebrated his 26th birthday yesterday (31JAN07) with thousands of fans during a concert in Montreal, Canada.
During the two-hour performance at Canada’s Ball Centre, fans held up homemade "Happy Birthday" signs and twice spontaneously broke into HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU between songs. Timberlake joked with the crowd, saying, "You guys are trying to say something to me, but I don’t know what it is. This is the loudest crowd I’ve had so far." MICHAEL JACKSON’s father JOE has been barred from seeing his grandchildren at their new home in Las Vegas, according to US media reports.
The Jackson family patriarch has attempted to visit his three grandchildren PRINCE MICHAEL I, PARIS and PRINCE MICHAEL II, also known as BLANKET - over the last couple of weeks, but nanny GRACE RWARAMBA has refused to allow him inside the house.
A source tells FoxNews.com, "Joe Jackson sat outside the gate for three hours before going away." Michael and his family are staying in the Spanish Trail golf community at a home reportedly owned by the Sultan of Brunei.
The THRILLER singer moved his family there after living in Bahrain and then staying in Ireland for nine months.

Hollywood actress ANNETTE BENING has appealed to California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER to increase funding for the arts at a California Arts Council meeting.
The AMERICAN BEAUTY star - a longtime Democratic party supporter with husband WARREN BEATTY - told delegates on Tuesday (30JAN07) that she wanted the Republican governor to spend more on improving the arts schemes in the area, instead of slashing them.
Bening claims state funding for the arts council has been cut from $30 million (£15.3 million) in the budget for 2000-01 to a mere $1.2 million (£615,000) in Schwarzenegger’s proposed financial plan for 2007-08.
However, Department of Finance spokesman, H.D. PALMER, denies this, and insists the former TERMINATOR actor is committed to the arts.
He says, "While the governor shares this passion for the arts, he’s also very passionate in his desire to reduce the state’s net operating deficit to zero next year."

FIlm-maker DAVID PUTTNAM has pulled out of the race to become the BBC’s next chairman, after making the "most difficult decision" he has ever faced.
Lord Puttnam had been "agonising" over the decision ever since former chairman MICHAEL GRADE defected to rival British channel ITV in November (06).
The outspoken film producer was regarded by many observers as the clear favourite for the post.

Bollywood legend AMITABH BACHCHAN narrowly escaped death this week (begs29JAN07) when he was kicked in the head by a camel on the set of new film EKLEVYA.
The 64-year-old actor, who plays a royal guard in the period drama, only survived the potentially deadly blow because his skull was protected by the traditional Rajasthani turban he was wearing for the scene.
Bachchan is reported to have suffered some dizziness, and is thankful he was not severely injured.
Director VIDHU VINOD CHOPRA says, "Mr Bachchan kept saying, ‘The turban saved my life.’ "I would have never believed it happened, but then we spotted the camel in action on the monitor."

Former AMERICAN IDOL contestant JENNIFER HUDSON has hit out at the US talent show, branding her experience on the programme "abusive".

Rock legend ERIC CLAPTON threatened to pull out of a concert in New Zealand over the weekend (27-28JAN07), after seeing a bottle of wine bearing his name.
The singer, who has battled with alcohol addiction in the past, is reported to have become angry after finding the 2007 Eric Clapton special edition wine on sale in Hawke.
Mission Estate Winery immediately withdrew the offending bottles from shop shelves when it emerged the guitarist was disgusted by his association with the beverage.
The winery’s chief executive PETER HOLLEY says, "On legal advice, we elected not to make the wine available for sale.
"The matter has been resolved to everyone’s satisfaction." The concert at Hawke’s Bay Mission went ahead as planned.
