Polo will once again star as BEN STILLER’s wife in MEET THE LITTLE FOCKER the follow-up to 2004’s MEET THE FOCKERS - and admits it’s her unselfish ability to let her on-screen husband and ROBERT DE NIRO steal the scenes that led to her getting the role.
She explains, "I think he (director JAY ROACH) cast me in the role because I play a great straight man.

A sequel to the violent crime thriller and Oscar contender THE DEPARTED is reportedly in the works, even though the film’s main characters are all dead.
The film’s writer WILLIAM MONAHAN has already started work on the new movie, which would focus on the rogue police officer played by MARK WAHLBERG.
Wahlberg, who is up for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in the 2006 thriller, will team up with ROBERT DE NIRO in the sequel, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
However, any follow-up to the blockbuster movie, which also starred JACK NICHOLSON, LEONARDO DiCAPRIO and MATT DAMON, would need approval by the film’s director MARTIN SCORSESE.
The movie, itself a remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film INFERNAL AFFAIRS, which spawned two sequels, has been nominated for five Academy Awards at this year’s ceremony (25FEB07) - including Best Picture and Best Director.

Reigning Miss USA TARA CONNER confesses she took cocaine during her hard-partying days, but insists she has put her wild ways behind her as she rebuilds her reputation.
Miss USA pageant owner DONALD TRUMP last month (DEC06) told Conner to seek counselling for her drink and drug problems.
The 21-year-old has successfully completed a one-month rehabilitation programme, after checking out of the Caron Foundation facility in Pennsylvania on 21 January (07).
She says, "(Before rehab) I thought I needed to be around people, that I needed that acceptance.
"Cocaine was one of the drugs that I did use. It’s hard to look back at that.
I was an equal-opportunity (user) - I would try anything once." And now Conner is keen to get back to her pageant duties.
She adds, "I just can’t wait to get back to work, ‘I’m Miss USA, my name is Tara Conner, and I’m happy to meet you,’ you know? Life’s good."

Hollywood hardman BRUCE WILLIS has settled a lawsuit against a childhood friend who allegedly tried to extort $100,000 (£51,000) from the actor.
The DIE HARD star filed a lawsuit last year (AUG07) against BRUCE DiMATTIA, claiming he "was overcome by greed and jealous of his former friend’s success" and threatened to disclose personal information about the star unless Willis bought him a car and paid him $100,000.
However, the action star has reached a settlement with DiMattia and their dispute has been "amicably resolved".
Willis’ publicist PAUL BLOCH says, "The filing of the lawsuit by Bruce Willis against Bruce DiMattia was based on a regrettable misunderstanding and was based on misinformation.
"Bruce Willis wishes Bruce DiMattia the best of luck in the future and Bruce DiMattia wishes him the same."

Rocker VILLE VALLO’s planned retreat to leave behind the excesses of the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle and work on his new album went awry, when he was introduced to a group of hard-drinking reindeer herders.
The Finnish frontman of rock band HIM planned an idyllic trip to nearby Lapland to work on the follow up to 2005s DARK LIGHT, but most of the alcohol-induced musical ideas he came up were quickly scrapped.
He recalls, "I came up with some ideas but it wasn’t very beneficial for my liver, let’s put it that way.
"I was drinking with these guys who have herds of reindeer. It was good fun but I met the strangest people in the mountains and we got drunk."

British rapper LADY SOVEREIGN nearly missed out on the big time when she "messed up" her intimate audition with USHER and JAY-Z - because she was drunk.
Sovereign - real name LOUISE HARMAN - gave a private performance to president of Def Jam records JAY-Z and singer Usher in 2005 in a bid to win a deal with the prestigious record company, but was so nervous, she had to drink vodka to calm herself down.
The rapper tells London’s Time Out, "I was anxious because I didn’t know what to expect, so I downed some vodka to steady my nerves.
"Usher was in there with Jay-Z, who didn’t say much. He was just grinning a lot, but he’s a really serious guy. He said, ‘Are you ready for this?’ And I was like, ‘Arggh.’ "I did a couple of freestyles and some pre-written stuff, but I choked halfway through. I thought I f**ked up, but I obviously didn’t because an hour later they called my manager, and that was it." Lady Sovereign will open for pop star GWEN STEFANI on her upcoming tour. The shows kick-off on 27 April (07) in Universal City, California and end on 23 June (07) in Irvine, California.

Singer/actor TYRESE GIBSON has branded reports he physically assaulted his pregnant girlfriend earlier this month (04JAN07) "untrue".
The former model’s statement follows his girlfriend’s attempts to play down the domestic fight which prompted her to call police to their Los Angeles home.
Gibson, 28, was said to have punched the unnamed woman twice in the stomach during the 4 January (07) row, and she was taken to hospital by paramedics when she started ‘throwing up’.
The R&B singer has kept quiet about his alleged actions since the incident, but decided it is time to speak out and clear his name.
He says, "I am a very private person, but as untrue information is still circulating, I feel I owe it to my fans and supporters to finally address the rumours and put them to rest once and for all.
"Please be assured that accusations of an alleged physical altercation between my girlfriend and me are absolutely false. No charges were filed.
"I am grateful for the prayers and support I have received over the last several weeks from my fans and supporters and I want to thank them."

LATEST: Grammy Award winner TONI BRAXTON yesterday (30JAN07) withdrew her lawsuit against her former personal manager BARRY HANKERSON, after a Federal Court judge asked the singer to justify the basis of the suit.
Braxton filed the papers in a US District Court in Manhattan on 12 January (07), accusing Hankerson of profitting from her switch from Arista Records to his own Blackground Records label in 2003. She claims Hankerson owes her at least $10 million (£5.2 million) from the label change.
But the UNBREAK MY HEART singer decided to drop the lawsuit altogether when she was asked to clarify the reason for her case or face dismissal, reports MTV.

new sound and wants British electro pop duo Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant to

The two British girl groups have teamed up to record their own version of
Aerosmith’s hit song for British charity event Comic Relief. It will be
released in the UK on March 12.
Dallas Austin - who has previously worked with the Sugababes and TLC - has
produced the track.
The song received its premiere on BBC Radio 1 on the Chris Moyles show today
(31.01.07).
‘Walk This Way’ was written by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and
originally released as the second single from their 1975 album ‘Toys in the
Attic’.
However, it achieved its iconic status when the rock band re-released the
song as a hip-hop collaboration with rappers Run DMC in 1986.

The British actress - who is engaged to Billy Zane - has urged women to get
active in the bedroom if they want to achieve a perfect figure.
She is quoted by Britain’s Closer magazine as saying: ‘Have more sex! It
keeps me fit and healthy.’
The 27-year-old says she eats whatever she wants and never visits the gym.
She explained: ‘I like the way the French eat, they have the tastiest food.
But they only have a couple of bites of rich things like foie gras and that
will be it. You can eat what you want, but don’t binge. That’s how I keep my
figure.
‘I keep toned with regular Pilates sessions, dance classes and volleyball on
the beach near my Los Angeles home.’

The ‘Jackass’ star and long-term lover Missy Rothstein have agreed to let
MTV film them planning their special day and the show, entitled ‘Bam’s
Unholy Union’, will end with the wedding.
Bam is confident his marriage will last because Missy isn’t famous.
He told the New York Daily News newspaper: ‘When a celebrity and another
celebrity try to make it work, it usually winds up in a divorce because
they’re too busy doing their own thing.
‘Not to mention their ‘thing’ consists of French kissing other people in
movies. I don’t care if you’re an actor, people get jealous.
‘Missy’s just a girl from Pennsylvania who has no desire to be an actor.’
Missy admitted to having last-minute reservations about the show.
She said: ‘It’s been quite an adjustment for me just because I’m a pretty
private person.
‘The night before the first day we started filming, I woke him and I said,
‘I can’t do this. I changed my mind.’ ‘
Despite the expected stardom she will receive from the show, she is happy to
go back to her normal life.
Missy added: ‘Whatever happens, happens. I’d prefer the attention to be
directed toward him. I’m kind of shy.’

Photographs of the troubled Babyshambles frontman sitting on a bed strewn
with syringes, spoons and British, US and Thai banknotes, have been
published by Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
In one picture he is seen checking a syringe and in another he appears to
inject himself with what is alleged to be cocaine.
Pete, 27, is seen talking on a mobile phone in the photographs, allegedly to
an anxious Kate asking where he was and what he was doing.
The photographs are said to be taken from a video made two days after Pete
and Kate’s Buddhist blessing ceremony - during their New Year’s holiday on
the island of Phuket.
Australian backpacker Jess Lea, 21, says she invited Pete back to her room
in a Thai hostel for a party with her two female roommates.
Pete agreed and Lea claims he injected himself with cocaine at least three
times between 1.30am and 4am.
Lea says she asked Pete if reports were true that he had married Kate.
She told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: ‘Pete said, ‘No, I love her but I
wouldn’t marry her if she was the last woman on Earth. She’s too paranoid.’
Pete then asked Lea if he could use her mobile phone to phone Kate.
Lea said: ‘Pete kept telling us Kate was paranoid and wanted to know where
he was and who the girls he was with were. He kept telling her there were no
girls.
‘She did seem quite p***ed off. He was constantly pleading, ‘What’s wrong? I
love you’. After the conversation his mood changed. He was quite upset.’
Lea admits she began to panic about having drugs in the room and asked Pete
to leave - but he couldn’t remember where his hotel was.
She finally managed to get him out of the hostel and put him in a taxi.
Pete and Kate reportedly had an argument the following day and the
33-year-old supermodel ordered him to return to Britain.
The couple are currently attending a London rehab clinic in a bid to help
Pete beat his drug addiction.
