POLO WANTS TO BE FUNNIER IN FOCKER ROLE
Actress TERI POLO is set to reprise her role in the second MEET THE PARENTS sequel, and hopes she will be allowed to be funnier this time around.
Polo will once again star as BEN STILLER’s wife in MEET THE LITTLE FOCKER the follow-up to 2004’s MEET THE FOCKERS - and admits it’s her unselfish ability to let her on-screen husband and ROBERT DE NIRO steal the scenes that led to her getting the role.
She explains, "I think he (director JAY ROACH) cast me in the role because I play a great straight man.
"Actually, I think I’m funnier off-camera."
