LESLIE PHILLIPS: ‘I’M MAD ABOUT GRACEFUL REDGRAVE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:46 pm

British actor LESLIE PHILLIPS has only one regret about the making of his new movie VENUS - he didn’t get to film many scenes with co-star VANESSA REDGRAVE.
The 82-year-old has nothing but praise for Academy Award-winning Redgrave, especially after her graceful behaviour when both were nominated as Best Supporting Actor for their Venus roles at the 2006 Independent Film Awards, an honour which Phillips won.
He says, "Oh, I was mad about her. She was particularly nice when I got the award for Best Supporting Actor because she was up for that as well and I never thought I would get it.
"She came round to me and grabbed my hand and gave me a kiss."
