EMMA BUNTON’s former SPICE GIRLS bandmates are thrilled by the news she is expecting her first child.
Baby Spice, 31, and boyfriend JADE JONES, 27, announced on Friday (26JAN07) they are expecting a baby together.
VICTORIA ‘POSH SPICE’ BECKHAM, who is the mother of three young sons, tells American publication People, "I am so excited for Emma. "This really is fantastic news, and she really will make a perfect Mummy!" Bunton’s close friend MELANIE ‘SPORTY SPICE’ CHISOLM is "absolutely delighted" for her pal.
According to Chisolm’s manager, "She spent much of the weekend trying to reach Emma, as they kept missing each other. She is overjoyed, thrilled to bits for her. As everyone is." Bunton’s bandmate, MELANIE ‘SPORTY SPICE’ BROWN is also pregnant with a baby reportedly by actor EDDIE MURPHY, who has asked for a paternity test when the baby is born.
