O’TOOLE’S ‘FAKE BIRTHPLACE’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:37 pm

PETER O’TOOLE’s claims he was born in Ireland have proved to be false after it was discovered the Oscar nominated actor was in fact born in Leeds, England.
The veteran actor claimed in his autobiography LOITERING WITH INTENT that he was born in Connemara, County Galway, but there is no trace of him in Irish records.
However, Leeds Register Office confirms that a Peter O’Toole was born on the date to a Scottish mother and an Irish bookmaker on the appropriate date, 2 August 1932.
As WENN went to press, a spokesperson for O’Toole had yet to comment.
