TUNSTALL CREDITS FAME TO AMERICAN IDOL STAR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:37 am

Singer-songwriter KT TUNSTALL has credited AMERICAN IDOL star KATHERINE McPHEE with making her famous outside the UK.
Tunstall insists hardly anyone knew who she was outside Britain until McPhee - who was runner up to winner TAYLOR HICKS in the fifth season of American Idol - sang her hit BLACK HORSE AND THE CHERRY TREE on one of the shows.
Tunstall says, "When she sang the song less than one per sent of Americans knew it.
"Now I have people at my gigs going, ‘I heard Katherine McPhee sing your song and I love your album." The Scottish singer also said of her second album, due out later this year (07), "I can’t wait. It’s faster and more mysterious."
