Former SOCIAL DISTORTION bassist BRENT LILES has been killed in a bicycle accident on southern California’s Orange Freeway, authorities confirm.
The 43-year-old was struck by a truck on Thursday (18JAN07) as he rode his bicycle across the freeway in Placentia, California, reports MTV.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Liles was a member of influential punk rock band Social Distortion from 1981 to 1984, and he later played with various other bands including AGENT ORANGE.
