LENNON TO BE USED AS TOURIST TRAP

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:34 pm

JOHN LENNON’s childhood holidays in Scotland are being officially promoted to attract tourists to the Scottish Highlands.
The late BEATLE was making plans to buy a Highland estate when he was shot dead aged 40 in December 1980 by deranged fan MARK CHAPMAN.
Now North Highland Tourism (NHT), which is headed by British royal PRINCE CHARLES, is attempting to strengthen the link between the area and Lennon by launching a website which features photographs of the star enjoying a holiday there.
Lennon’s cousin STANLEY PARKES says, "John really loved hill walking, shooting and fishing. He would have been quite a laird!"
