Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 10:40 am

LATEST: BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE are serious about making New Orleans, Louisiana their new home - they’ve bought a 150-year-old mansion in the city’s famous French Quarter outright.
The Hollywood couple won’t be renting the six-bedroom, three-storey property as they paid the full $3.75 million (£1.92 million) asking price at the beginning of the month (JAN07), according to US TV news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD.
And the famous couple are already making friends in the Big Easy - Jolie thrilled regulars at her new local The Abbey Bar when she popped in for a drink two weeks ago.
Barman MATT DUNN says, "She was real nice, everyone was real cool to her."

  • LEE: ‘VIDEO GAMES ARE MORE EXCITING THAN MOVIES’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 10:40 am

Comic book creator STAN LEE has lavished praise on video games, insisting they’re "more exciting, more colourful and more complex" than movies.
The 85-year-old creator of Marvel Comics characters like SPIDER-MAN, THE HULK and the X-MEN hails video games "the ultimate in entertainment" because the viewer can participate in the story, but he admits he has no idea how to play them himself.
He gushes, "Video games are more exciting, more colourful and more complex than motion pictures. In a movie, you just sit and watch. (In a video game) you’re not only seeing the story but you’re participating in the story. "They let me try to play a video game once. I was a dismal failure. I never thought I would be a video game icon."

  • DIDDY DENIED ENTRY TO POSH PARTY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 10:34 am

SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has slammed reports he was verbally abusive after being denied entry into a Golden Globe Awards after-party on Monday night (15JAN07).
The hip-hop mogul arrived with his entourage at the Sunset Tower Hotel at a party hosted by members of Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and according to one witness, was verbally towards hotel security when he was told his name was not on the guest list.
Hotel owner JEFF KLEIN asked the star to leave, which reportedly caused Combs to shout back, "What are you going to do - call the police? Just try it - I’ll spend the rest of my life hunting you down!" Combs and his entourage left soon after the exchange.
Combs was allegedly banned from CAA parties after an incident several years ago when he lost his temper with an assistant to CAA co-chief BRYAN LOURD, who was hosting an Oscar party - according to PageSix.com.
But a CAA representative has refuted the claims, saying, "There is no ban on Puffy officially or unofficially. He just wasn’t invited." Combs’ spokesperson has denied the star was verbally abusive, saying, "Sean never said those things. He respects people’s wishes and left. He went to PRINCE’s party instead.
