MUSE, LILY ALLEN AND GNARLS BARKLEY LEAD BRIT AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Rockers MUSE, pop star LILY ALLEN and GNARLS BARKLEY lead the nominations for next month’s (FEB07) Brit Awards with three apiece.
Muse will contest the Best British Group, Best Live Act and Best British Album, for BLACK HOLES AND REVELATIONS, categories at the awards ceremony in London on 14 February.
Allen is named in the Best British Solo Artist, Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Album, for ALRIGHT, STILL, categories; while duo Gnarls Barkley are nominated for Best International Group, Best International Breakthrough Act and Best International Album for ST ELSEWHERE.
Acts nominated for two awards include BOB DYLAN, KASABIAN, SCISSOR SISTERS, ARCTIC MONKEYS and AMY WINEHOUSE.
OASIS have already been confirmed as the recipients of the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award.
