Others winners at the 10th annual Wacky Warning Label competition were a motoring firm who warned, "Never use a lit match to check fuel level", a lottery ticket advising "Do not iron" and a mobile phone carrying the information "Don’t try to dry your phone in a microwave oven." The event, run by the Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch, aims to "reveal how lawsuits, and concern about lawsuits, have created a need for common sense warnings on products."

Proposals have been put forward for a Hong Kong university for the elderly.
Plans for the so-called Third Age University were introduced by Leong Che-hung, chairman of the government’s Elderly Commission.
Che-hung sees the development as an extension of another scheme launching later this year involving higher-education institutions holding after-hours classes for the aged.
He said: "Hopefully these institutions may even award degrees to answer the dreams of many seniors who yearn to be university graduates but were robbed of such chances in their younger days, as they had to till and toil for their families."

LATEST: Troubled British TV star CRAIG CHARLES has returned to soap opera CORONATION STREET following his drug scandal last year (06).
The 42-year-old was suspended in June after photographs of him allegedly snorting cocaine in the back of a taxi were printed in a British newspaper.
Charles, who plays cab firm owner LLOYD MULLANEY, was cautioned by police for being in possession of a class A drug.
He was also suspended by the BBC, for whom he hosts a funk show on digital radio station 6 Music.
The former RED DWARF star has thanked his family and his fans for supporting him and said he was "happy to be back" filming.

British broadcasting legend JONATHAN DIMBLEBY is expecting a child with his publicist girlfriend JESSICA RAY.
The political commentator, 62, and Ray, 31, got together in May 2004 shortly after he admitted his 36-year marriage to BEL MOONEY was over.
A pal says, "Jonathan and Jessica are thrilled by the news. At this stage they have no thoughts of getting married soon though." Dimbleby already has a daughter, KITTY, who is just three years younger than Ray, while his son DANIEL, a TV producer, is 35.

British royal residence Buckingham Palace is coming to the small screen in a brand new TV drama about fictional monarchy.
THE PALACE - which has been compared to US political drama THE WEST WING will be made by Company Pictures, the production team behind royal drama ELIZABETH I.
A spokesman for network ITV says, "It is still early days but it should be fantastic. We are very excited." The show will be broadcast in eight one-hour episodes in 2008.

A US beverage company is charging $10 for a cup of coffee.
Customers can purchase an eight ounce cup of the exquisite Kopi Luwak coffee at Coffee and Tea limited store, in Minnesota.
Roaster Jim Cone also offers one-pound bags for $420. Cone said: "We roast it to about 420 degrees. It’s a very rich cup of coffee, very chocolaty, actually a caramely taste around the bottom of your tongue." The expensive Indonesian coffee is made from beans that have been eaten and passed through the digestive tract of the Civet cat. Cone said: "There’s a skin on the pulp and that’s what’s really digested in their system. And the bean is inside that. After they’ve processed them in their body people pick them up and clean them."

A German firm has designed a ghetto-blaster for grannies.
Classen & Partner have taken the traditional old lady shopping trolley and turned it into a music centre, with inbuilt speakers, a CD player, radio and an iPod connector. The designers also say they call make a bespoke version incorporating a vinyl player on request.
The creation is called Mskyo - which stands for ‘Momma Said Knock You Out’.
Customers can choose from a variety of different designs including tartan and a Lucky Strike cigarette packet.

A US man has returned a library book - after 47 years.
Robert Nuranen checked out a copy of ‘Prince of Egypt’ for a ninth-grade assignment back in 1960 when he lived in Michigan.
Nuranen - who now lives in Los Angeles - says his mother misplaced the book while she was tidying.
He finally re-discovered the book in a box in the attic of his childhood home last week, and took it back to the library with a check for $171.32 late fees.
He said: "I figured I’d better get it in before we waited another 10 years. Fifty-seven years would be embarrassing."

Tigger has been caught on camera punching a teenager at a US theme park.
Jerry Monaco, from New Hampshire, lodged a complaint with Disney World, Florida, after an employee dressed in a life-size costume of the cartoon character attacked his 14-year-old son.
The taped incident shows Tigger grabbing his son Jerry’s arm and then hitting him in the face.
Monaco said: "At first, I was upset at my son. I thought he did something to Tigger. But then I reviewed it and it is pretty clear; for no reason he just clocked him in the face." The employee was identified as Michael Fedelem, 31.
Fedelem has been suspended until an internal investigation and the sheriff’s criminal inquiry are completed.

A scorpion caused a delay at a Canadian airport after it stung a passenger onboard an incoming flight.
The stowaway arachnid had reportedly been unintentionally brought onto the American Airlines flight from Miami to Toronto in the victim’s knapsack on Sunday morning (07.01.07).
The stung man alerted aircrew, who then searched for other dangerous specimens once the flight landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Company spokesman John Hotard, said: "We delayed the outbound flight and searched the cabin of the aircraft to see if we could find any more, which we did not." The injured man said he was returning to Canada from a camping trip with his brother in Costa Rica, where the scorpion is likely to have come from.

Former British prime minister SIR JOHN MAJOR has hit out at the "grotesque" press harassment of PRINCE WILLIAM’S girlfriend KATE MIDDLETON, following heavy media presence outside the 25-year-old’s London home for her birthday this week (09JAN07).
The comments follow calls by the British royal’s father, PRINCE CHARLES, on Tuesday to stop chasing his son’s girlfriend wherever she goes.

Major, the Conservative leader between 1990 and 1997, says, "Ten years on from the tragic death of the mother of Prince William and PRINCE HARRY - and in the midst of the inquest into the circumstances surrounding it - it seems we have learned nothing."

A Japanese actor who went missing in Colombia has been discovered dead and already buried in the country’s port city Cartagena.
SHINGO MUKAI is believed to have disappeared last Friday (05JAN07) after running away when his two companions were paying a taxi driver who had taken them to a party outside Cartagena.
The 31-year-old’s body was hauled from the water in the Caribbean city’s port area with his neck broken on 6 January (07), according to Cartagena mayor NICOLAS CURI.
He was buried a day later by the city as an unidentified person because he had no documents and the body was decomposing, Curi says.

British funnyman SACHA BARON COHEN has garnered a surprise nomination from the Writers Guild of America (WGA) for his spoof documentary, BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN.
Despite losing out at with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) this morning (12JAN07), the controversial comedy has earned the show’s star and co-creator recognition in the category of Adapted Screenplay, where it will compete against THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, LITTLE CHILDREN, THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING and THE DEPARTED.
The award for Original Screenplay sees nominations for LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, STRANGER THAN FICTION, UNITED 93, and BRAD PITT’s new movie BABEL, as well as THE QUEEN starring DAME HELEN MIRREN.
The winners will be announced at awards ceremony on 11 February (07) in New York and Los Angeles.

Australian cricket ace BRETT LEE has scored a hit single in India after teaming up with Bollywood singer ASHA BHOSLE.
The sporting star, 30, allegedly wrote the lyrics - some of which are in Hindi - for YOU’RE THE ONE FOR ME after a training session during the Champions Trophy tournament in the Asian country. The song has debuted at number three in the country’s singles charts.
He says, "It was amazing to work with her and is just as amazing to hear.
"I don’t quite know what our position on the Indian charts means, in terms of how many people have listened to it, but India has 1.2 billion people, so I’m guessing it’s quite a few.
SAMIR TANDON, who composed the song’s score, adds, "We had a great time recording the music.
"As a musician he is nothing like the aggressive fast bowler that he is on the field. He is extremely polite." British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is also planning a duet with the Bollywood legend whose last album, SONGS FROM R D BURMAN’S BOLLYWOOD, was nominated for a Grammy in 2006.

Pop star PINK is set to unveil her directorial debut in the form of music video HELLO BONJOUR by rockers the PRETTY BOYS.
The duo, consisting of singer GALADRIEL MASTERSON and guitarist HOPEY ROCK, were chosen as the winners of a Nissan-sponsored contest to find new female talent, which was run by women’s magazine Glamour in collaboration with the STUPID GIRLS hitmaker.
Masterson exclaims, "Pink made us feel gorgeous and charming and fun and we loved working with her!" The video will premiere at a special event on Tuesday (16JAN07), and will air on all major US music channels next Wednesday (17JAN07).
