ZELLWEGER TAKES LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AUTHOR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 10:12 am

Hollywood actress RENEE ZELLWEGER has taken legal action against an author of a book released to tie in with her latest movie, MISS POTTER.
Zellweger has issue a court action for pre-action of disclosure of documents in a bid to see writer GARTH PEARCE’s notes and recordings of their conversations for his new book THE MAKINGS OF MISS POTTER.
However, Pearce is uncertain why the star is unhappy about his research as he claims to she was a willing interviewee and that he even agreed to her request to cut out sections regarding her private life. Pearce says, "I was hired to write the book freely, with no copy approval.
"One of the producers showed her a copy of the book and she took out 4,000 words relating to her private life. The book’s publishers were under no obligation to go along with her cuts but they did so because she had copy approval over the pictures.
"I assume she’s complaining about the fact that I used the words she cut out of the book in articles published elsewhere but I have every right to print them."
