Movie beauty CATE BLANCHETT put her teenage co-star in new movie NOTES ON A SCANDAL at ease before the pair shot a kissing scene.
ANDREW SIMPSON, 17, took the prospect of multiple takes of puckering up to Blancett in his stride.
In the movie, Blanchett’s character is an art teacher who falls for Simpson’s 16-year-old student.
Simpson says, "It was just another scene. Before, I didn’t think of it as that important - and we did it in such a way that it wasn’t a big deal.
"She treated it as a laugh and kept saying, ‘Oops, sorry.’"
