ARQUETTE: ‘I’VE NEVER SEEN ANISTON CRY’
SCREAM star DAVID ARQUETTE has lavished praise on close pal JENNIFER ANISTON for the dignified manner in which she behaved during her divorce from BRAD PITT.
Arquette appeared on US shock radio host HOWARD STERN’s show on Wednesday (10JAN07) where he spoke about the former FRIENDS star, saying, "Jennifer’s great. When the marriage ended, it was sad. I love Brad, he’s a great guy. He did some stuff that hurt our friend, but you know…" When Stern asked if he’d ever seen her cry he said, "No, no, never, not shed one tear." Arquette claims he and wife COURTENEY COX knew all about Pitt and Aniston ending their relationship, but says they were shocked to find out that Pitt was involved with his MR & MRS SMITH co-star ANGELINA JOLIE, adding, "That part was pretty much a surprise." When asked if Aniston had any bad feelings towards Pitt and Jolie, Arquette explained, "I don’t think Jennifer hates either, I don’t think it’s like that.
"The way they (the media) depict it is completely wrong. She’s a very strong woman, she’s totally sold and she’s just got a great attitude."
