BROWN RAPE CASE CONTINUES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:40 pm

LATEST: A rape case brought against soul star JAMES BROWN will continue, despite his unexpected Christmas Day (25DEC06) death.
JACQUE HOLLANDER claims she was forced to have sex with the singer at gunpoint in 1988 while she was his publicist.
Although a lower court ruled last year (06) she had waited too long to file, Hollander has asked the US Supreme Court to hear her sexual harassment suit, she revealed yesterday (09JAN06). A decision is pending.
Hollander says, "This has been a long road that ended tragically Christmas morning. As a rape victim, I will never get to face him in court, and it hurts.
"But we are moving forward. We filed against his organisation, as well as him. So now his organisation stands in front of him." Brown’s lawyer BUDDY DALLAS has vowed to fight the accusations, insisting, "There was nothing to it 20 years ago and nothing to it 20 years later."
