MORRISSEY TO WRITE UK EUROVISION SONG?
British singer MORRISSEY is in talks to write the UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest later this year (07).
The former SMITHS frontman is a fan of the critically-panned competition.
A BBC spokesman says, "I can confirm we are in talks with Morrissey about a Eurovision song." Last year (06), Morrissey expressed his disgust at the UK’s song, performed by DAZ SAMPSON.
He said, "I was horrified but not surprised to see the UK fail again.
"There’s a question I keep asking myself - why didn’t they ask me? That keeps going round my head."
