THOMPSON JOINS BID TO SAVE BURBERRY FACTORY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:45 am

Actress EMMA THOMPSON has pledged her support backing workers at Burberry after the fashion house announced it is to move its factory from Wales to China.
The Oscar-winning star joins fellow actors IOAN GRUFFUDD and RHYS IFANS to try to save the 300 jobs at the Treorchy factory.
Thompson believes Burberry should remain in Wales, where the company would "retain its code of decency and high standards. Anything else is a betrayal of the workforce and a bastardisation of the brand."
