Hollywood superstar BRAD PITT is desperate to have more children with girlfriend ANGELINA JOLIE.
The celebrity couple has two adopted children, MADDOX and ZAHARA, and a biological daughter, SHILOH NOUVEL, who was born in May 2006.
But Pitt is keen to extend the family further. Speaking at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday (06JAN07) he said, "Of course. We’ll let you know when we get there." Jolie recently told French magazine Gala that both she and Pitt were carefully planning their careers and incomes so they can afford to have a bigger family.

New ER star JOHN STAMOS took research for his role a little too far when his mother was rushed to the emergency room after a house fire.
The 43-year-old joined the cast of the popular US medical drama last year (06) as paramedic-turned-intern TONY GATES, and had been unable to gain access to a real ER room until his mother LORETTA PHILLIPS’ accident.
He tells the New York Daily News, "Obviously, I was very concerned about her, but I was also interested to see a real ER.
"I’d been trying to get access to one, but you really can’t because of patient confidentiality."

HENRY WINKLER has warned fellow actors not to take their celebrity for granted after struggling to find work after HAPPY DAYS.
Winkler, who played ARTHUR ‘FONZIE’ FONZARELLI in the sitcom between 1974 and 1984, found out the hard way that fame does not guarantee success.
He was forced to produce and direct a string of TV shows to pay the bills, but has since staged a return to acting, appearing alongside ADAM SANDLER in CLICK last year (06).
He says, "I thought the Fonz was so big I’d beat the system. I thought I was so famous I’d be able to leap from mountain top to mountain top. But I slipped right to the bottom of the valley and my jeans got covered in grass stains.
"It was a shock to me at first but I had to start from scratch. I had to pick myself up, dust myself off and walk back up the mountain.
"I saw that there was no such thing as stardom - it’s a myth, a mirage. I saw that if you dare believe your hype, you’ll get a smack in the mouth."

An Indian film has been banned in Afghanistan after government officials ruled parts of the movie could cause offence to one of the country’s ethnic minorities.
Directed by KABIR KHAN, KABUL EXPRESS follows the story of three journalists in post-Taliban Afghanistan but politicians there fear Hazara people, believed to make up about 10 per cent of the Afghan population, could be upset at some mentions.
Afghanistan’s Minister of Culture adviser NAJIB MANALAI says, "The film has some sentences which are very offensive toward… the Hazara. For this reason it has been banned.
"Even if it’s fiction, some phrases are hurtful to some people. It’s playing with people’s feelings and pride." Manalai also warned the Afghans involved in the movie, especially those whose lines were deemed inappropriate, would be questioned by a prosecutor and further action taken if necessary.

COURTENEY COX’s new TV show DIRT is facing legal problems over the spelling of its title.
The drama, which sees Cox play tabloid editor LUCY SPILLER, is spelt Dirt on a magazine mockup which is part of the credits. However, during the programme, it is depicted as Drrt.
And when the magazine merges with another fictional title called Now, the spelling changes to DirtNow.
A spokesman for the show tells the New York Daily News, "It was a legal clearance issue on using the magazine name Dirt." Dirt was briefly published as a male version of teen magazine Sassy during the 1990s, and is currently the name of a British mountain bike magazine.

LATEST: An Indian attorney has appeared in a Mumbai court to defend his obscenity case against Bollywood stars AISHWARYA RAI and HRITHIK ROSHAN.
SHAILENDRA DWIVEDI accuses the actors of vulgarity for a kissing scene they share in DHOOM 2. He believes the romance in the SANJAY GADHVI film - an action thriller about a police chase to catch a hi-tech international thief - is undignified and derogatory to women and sends out the wrong message to the country’s youth.
After making his court statements on Friday (05JAN07), Dwivedi said, "I have already submitted details of the film, the controversial scene, alongside newspaper write-ups and photographs.
"My conscience made me file this case. The movie cannot be watched by Indian families as it depicts vulgarity." The case is set to be heard on 25 January (07).

London’s legendary Theatre Museum has closed down after 20 years because of lack of finances to fund a major refurbishment.
Its owner, the Victoria & Albert Museum, decided to shut its doors to the public after high profile campaigns by British actors including DAME JUDI DENCH, VANESSA REDGRAVE and PETER BOWLES failed to raise the £5 million ($9.68 million) needed to save the Covent Garden venue.
MARTIN BROWN of the British Actors Union, Equity, says, "London is a world-centre of theatre and it’s astonishing that the Victoria & Albert Museum hasn’t got sufficient commitment to this art form to continue funding." Exhibits on display at the Theatre Museum, such as SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER’s costume from RICHARD III and English playwright NOEL COWARD’s make-up box, are to be re-housed in a new gallery at the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington.

The daughter of late CROCODILE HUNTER star STEVE IRWIN is set to make a number of high-profile appearances in the US this week (begs08JAN07) to promote her new series BINDI, THE JUNGLE GIRL.
Eight-year-old BINDI IRWIN, whose 26-part documentary will be broadcast on the Discovery Kids network later this year (07) will appear on THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW and THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. She will also address the National Press Club in Washington and perform at concerts in Los Angeles and New York.
Discovery senior vice-president ANNIE HOWELL says, "She’ll be welcomed with open arms and rightly so. She’s a very special child." Bindi will also join Australian actors RUSSELL CROWE and NAOMI WATTS, as well as Australian-born media baron RUPERT MURDOCH, for a gala dinner.
Naturalist Steve Irwin died in September 2006 when a stingray barb pierced his heart.
His daughter’s US tour coincides with the airing of OCEAN’S DEADLIEST, the documentary Irwin was making off Australia’s northeast coast when he died.

Actress JENNIFER MORRISON is set to wed her HOUSE co-star JESSE SPENCER after the couple became engaged in Paris over the Christmas holidays.
The 27-year-olds, who play DR ALLISON CAMERON and DR ROBERT CHASE respectively, met on set in 2004 while filming a pilot episode of the hit US medical drama.

An executor handling the affairs of late Grammy-winning singer CELIA CRUZ could be removed from office if a judge rules he’s been spending money intended for Cruz’s husband.
Ailing trumpeter PEDRO KNIGHT was named sole beneficiary in Cruz’s will when she died of a brain tumour in 2003.
However, one of the will’s executors, LUIS FALCON, has made "extravagant expenditures" and failed to account for transfers of more than $1 million (£512,820) from Cruz’s estate, according to a lawsuit filed by co-executor OMER PARDILLO.
Pardillo also claims Falcon is exercising improper influence over Knight, who is 85 and suffering from dementia.
Last week (ends05JAN07) New Jersey Superior Court Judge PETER E DOYNE appointed a New York lawyer to represent Knight’s interests as guardian.
Doyne will decide next month (09FEB07) whether to remove Falcon from his duties.

A photo exhibition depicting ELVIS PRESLEY’s meeting with former US President RICHARD NIXON almost 40 years ago opened to the public in California today (08JAN07).
The Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Birthplace is commemorating what would have been The King’s 72nd birthday by allowing fans to see some of his most iconic pictures, including the moment he visited the White House.
Their meeting on 21 December 1970 lasted just 30 minutes, however a photograph of the two men shaking hands remains the most requested document from the US National Archives.
BUD KROGH, Nixon’s former deputy counsel who set up the impromptu meeting, says, "The two of them together somehow is almost incomprehensible.
"The king of rock and the president of the United States shaking hands in the Oval Office doesn’t compute for a lot of people." The museum’s assistant director SANDY QUINN, adds, "We’ve known for years that that photograph is an icon image. It is The President and The King." Presley requested the meeting to discuss how he could help Nixon in the fight against drugs.

R&B star ALICIA KEYS has hit out at the music industry for being too concerned with mainstream popularity to speak out on controversial political issues.
The FALLIN’ singer, an anti-war campaigner and active fundraiser for several African AIDS charities, isn’t one to shy away from speaking her mind.
She says, "I think music and socialism and politics have always gone hand in hand. As artists we used to be way more instrumental in providing a soundtrack to the heartbeat of what’s going on in the world.

Country music star KENNY ROGERS has been forced to sell his multi-million dollar residence in Georgia, America after plans to rebuild the property came under fire from neighbours.
The singer hoped to transform the $2.3 million (£1.2 million) property in Sandy Springs into his dream home by demolishing the existing building and clearing areas of woodland.
But the extensive work has angered neighbours, who brand the site an eyesore.
ALAN GOTTLIEB, whose house is behind Rogers’ property, says, "We all understand people have to develop lots, but to strip the land like this is crazy.
"He had a landscape plan that if he would’ve followed, would’ve been great.
But he just decided to abandon it." Rogers is now selling the land for $3.95 million (£2 million). He has also planted $60,000 (£30,769) worth of trees on the property and plans to plant grass.
He says, "I’m sorry for any inconvenience I might’ve caused them (neighbours). I tried desperately to be considerate to everyone out there, but you can’t live your life for other people."

R&B star RIHANNA swept the board at the Barbados Music Awards for the second year running on Friday (05JAN07), winning several categories including Top Entertainer and Best Album.

JARED LETO’s rock group 30 SECONDS TO MARS have sparked rumours of a break-up after the actor-turned-singer expressed doubt the band will last through 2007.
The four-man group have released two albums since their creation by Leto and brother SHANNON in 1998, and their third and reportedly final LP is due late next year (08).
However, lead singer Jared has voiced concerns about the band’s longevity and has hinted they may even call it a day before the year’s end.
He tells MTV, "We’re talking about the possibilities of another record or the possibility of calling it something else and saying goodbye.
"You have to look at your life and see if you have anything to say or to offer at that point."
