A US man faces life in prison after smashing a window to steal a female mannequin dressed in a French maid’s outfit.
Ronald Dotson, of Detroit, has been charged with breaking and entering after becoming enamoured with a life-sized doll in the window of a cleaning-supply company.
Dotson - who already has six convictions for breaking and entering to indulge his mannequin fetish - had only been out of prison a week when he was arrested.
He now faces a long-term jail sentence as he is being charged as a habitual offender.
In 2000 Dotson was charged after attempting to steal a mannequin from a woman’s clothing store and he was arrested in 1993 when he was found in an alleyway with three lingerie dolls.
