BENNINGTON’S HIGH HOPES FOR ALBUM THREE
CHESTER BENNINGTON has set high expectations for LINKIN PARK’s third studio album - he’ll be devastated if it sells fewer than two million copies.
The band’s last release, 2003’s METEORA, achieved sales of more than 3.5 million worldwide, and Bennington is determined each LP should improve on the last.
He says of the forthcoming album, due for release in 2007, "If this record only sells one or two million copies, that’s a huge failure. We really wouldn’t be happy if that happened. I would be upset because I take a lot of pride in what we do."
