SIMPSON SLAMS KENNEDY CENTER REIMBURSEMENT REPORTS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:31 pm

JESSICA SIMPSON’s father/manager JOE has hit back at reports he is furious that the Kennedy Center won’t reimburse him for $15,000 (£7,700) in stylist’s fees after his daughter was cut from a tribute to country music star DOLLY PARTON.
Jessica made headlines when she attempted to sing a rendition of Parton’s hit 9 TO 5 during the Kennedy Center Honors tribute and forgot the words.
She was subsequently cut from the TV broadcast last week (26DEC06), even though she taped an alternative version of the song once the show was over.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "She was cut from the show." Joe was reportedly seeking reimbursement for hair, make-up and stylist’s fees, but a representative for Simpson slams the claims, saying, there is "no truth to (the rumours)."
