ANGELINA JOLIE hates the fact her fame and the attention she attracts prevents her from taking her children on trips to Disneyland.
Instead, Jolie and her boyfriend BRAD PITT make an effort to plan in detail every family outing for the sake of their kids - MADDOX, five; ZAHARA, 23 months; and SHILOH NOUVEL, six months.
Jolie says, "I’ve made a point not to let it change the way that I live my life. I carefully plan my holidays to try to ensure some kind of quality of life that is private and nice for the kids.
"I think that the only time it is hard is when the kids want to go somewhere and want to see something.
"I’ve had so many people offer to take my children to Disneyland or dressing up for trick-or-treating - things they assume my kids can’t do (with me and Brad) - and they don’t understand how upsetting that is.
"So, we plan to find ways to do all of those things.
"There are worse problems and so we’re OK."

BEN STILLER has spoken out in defence of TOM CRUISE, insisting it was "wrong" for Paramount Studios to axe its deal with the superstar last year (06).
MEET THE PARENTS star Stiller insists Paramount boss SUMNER REDSTONE should never have sacked Cruise after blaming his couch-jumping appearance on OPRAH WINFREY’s TV show for embarrassing the studio and hampering the box office performance of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III.
And Stiller also believes Hollywood’s highest earners deserve their staggeringly high salaries.
He says, "Studios don’t pay out of the kindness of their heart. It’s all an equation to them. That’s all.
"At the end of the day there is only one Tom Cruise and it might be that whoever is paying the stars goes, ‘Well, we don’t necessarily need to pay that much.’ "But I think it was wrong for Sumner Redstone to go after Tom like that. It was out of leftfield.
"For the most part, Hollywood will stop paying the stars when it stops making sense to them to pay the stars. And they don’t pay anybody a cent over what it’s worth to them. It’s not like you see these studios losing money."

MADONNA has been criticised for making ill-informed comments about scientific matters - and has been told to "check her facts" in the future.
The star has been named as a factual offender by charity Sense About Science, which is warning that celebrity-backed theories and therapies often make no scientific sense, and as such, should be interpreted with caution by the public.
The MATERIAL GIRL was singled out for criticism over her thoughts on the need to develop a means of "neutralising radiation" - which is impossible.
But the charity is offering a lifeline to the offending stars by setting up a helpline offering advice from experts to ensure scientific accuracy before they speak out in support of any campaigns.
TRACEY BROWN, director of the charity says, "We know some people aren’t interested in good science or evidence.
"We are equally sure some (stars) will be glad to talk through claims they are asked to front, because they take their impact seriously. But it’s not been obvious where to go for that.

BEN STILLER loves living next door to his mother-in-law, despite plans to direct a TV pilot starring his wife CHRISTINE TAYLOR mocking his current domestic situation.
The actor - who is developing the currently untitled comedy show with Taylor - claims he has no qualms living so close to his wife’s mother in New York.
He says, "It’s a really good, honestly. It’s a built-in support system for our kids.
"The houses are literally next to each other, so we have some privacy but yet she’s there. She’s been a great grandmother and she and I get along really well.
"But yes, of course there is humour to be got out of that. It will have a slightly broader reality to it in the show."

NIP/TUCK star JULIAN McMAHON is so accustomed to shooting sex scenes for the hit cosmetic surgery drama, he is tempted to write a manual on how best to film them.
McMahon, who plays DR CHRISTIAN TROY on the TV show, finds it uncomfortable getting so raunchy with his female co-stars.
And he is keen to pass on his wisdom on how to make filming such scenes less awkward.
McMahon says, "The sex scenes are a pain. A lot of the time, they’re goofy and cheesy.
"When you meet the actress who is doing the scene with you, it is usually a bit strange. It normally goes, ‘Hey, I’m Julian. Here’s my c**k sock.’ It’s just ugly, you know? It’s not a sexy process.
"And the whole pretending-to-have-sex thing has to happen, and it’s not so sexy.
"I’m going to write the bible of sex scenes - the McMahon Technique.
"The important thing for me is to make sure the person I’m with is relaxed enough to perform whatever we need to do. And to make it believable, of course."

NEW YORK rockers GLASSJAW are making a comeback, three years after they disappeared without trace.
The band - who had not performed or released any material since 2004 reunited towards the end of 2006 to support DEFTONES and perform a series of gigs.
Now frontman DARYL PALUMBO claims a comeback album is on the way.

British rockers ARCTIC MONKEYS are ditching their trademark sound for more dance-inspired tunes - but insist the move is just "a return to their musical roots".
The band are currently working on their second album, after the success of 2006’s WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY I AM, THAT’S WHAT I’M NOT. Frontman ALEX TURNER believes the new tracks are experimental - with many of them beginning as impromptu mobile phone recordings.
He says, "We’ve tried to experiment - that’s a bit of a dangerous word, but we’ve tried to push on with that.
"We’d be in soundchecks and it would be, ‘F**king hell, what’s that (sound) about?’ So we’d record it on a phone. We ended up with breaks almost.
"I’ve always been into beats, we were into that before we were into THE STROKES."

KORN frontman JONATHAN DAVIS insists the rockers aren’t quitting, despite losing drummer DAVID SILVERIA.
Silveria walked away from the band late last year (06), citing exhaustion, prompting speculation the band’s forthcoming eighth album would be their last.
But Davis insists Silveria is only taking a break - and reassures fans Korn are as strong as ever.
He says, "He really needed to take a break, he was very burnt out.
"He will not be on this record or tour but will be back for the next one, if ready. Until then we will have a fill-in drummer. We are not breaking up, this is not the last album. Everything is fine, this is only temporary."

LINKIN PARK frontman CHESTER BENNINGTON was forced to make a new album with the band because his divorce from his first wife SAMANTHA left him broke.
The couple split in 2005 and Bennington claims he has gone from being wealthy to penniless in just 18 months.
Bennington - now remarried to TALINDA BENTLEY - says, "In the last few years I got divorced, remarried and had another baby. I lost all my money in the divorce and I’m only just starting to get back on my feet. It’s been a rollercoaster: one day you’re married, the next day you’re not. One day you’re rich, the next day you’re not."

Rapper STYLES P was left with a broken leg after a road rage attack in New York state.
According to police, the star - real name DAVID STYLES - was cut up by a truck while driving through Greenburgh, Westchester County on 23 December (06).
Styles got out of his Mercedes-Benz to remonstrate with the driver JOHN HENSON and throw napkins at his truck. When he tried to get back in his car, Henson rammed him breaking his left leg.
Henson, 50, who has been charged with second-degree assault, told police he feared for his safety - reports AllHipHop.com.
Styles P was treated at Westchester Medical Center and later released.

Rapper 50 CENT is setting his sights on "the top of the literary world" - and hopes his new series of street fiction will wow critics.
The star is combining his G-UNIT brand with MTV’s Pocket Books to create gritty and true-to-life new stories told as hip-hop novellas. Cent - real name CURTIS JACKSON - hopes the books will ape the success of his previous foray into the literary world.
Speaking to AllHipHop.com, he says, "Last year, my memoirs, FROM PIECES TO WEIGHT marked the beginning. Now, I’m rounding up some of the top writers, same way I rounded up some of the top rappers in the game, to form G-Unit and take this series to the top of the literary world.
"The stories in the G-Unit (are) about our life on the streets and no on knows it better than us.

The ‘Stepford Wives’ actress was planning to drive from Sydney to her holiday home in New South Wales with husband Keith Urban to celebrate the New Year.
However, their journey was disrupted by freelance photographer Jamie Fawcett who tried to take pictures of the couple while pursuing them in a car.
An enraged Nicole reportedly told Fawcett to "f**k off", before reporting the incident to the police, claiming he had endangered her and others with his driving while following her.
Fawcett insists he has not broken any laws.
He is quoted by the Daily Mail website as saying: "I was four or five meters from their car and entitled to be there. This situation was not my making.
They pulled over." After the incident, Nicole and Keith - who is on leave from rehab where he is being treated for alcoholism - decided not to continue their trip and headed back to Los Angeles early on New Year’s Day (01.01.07).
This is not the first time Fawcett has run into trouble with the ‘Moulin Rouge’ actress.
His lawyers are due to appear in court later this month over earlier allegations he was linked to bugging Nicole’s Darling Point home.
Fawcett has denied any involvement.

It was reported that Kate and Pete had tied the knot in intimate surroundings on New Year’s Day (01.10.07) on the idyllic island of Phuket.
But Stuart Higgins, the catwalk queen’s publicist, has refuted the reports.
He said in a statement released on Tuesday (02.01.07): "Contrary to various entirely false media reports, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday." A friend of Kate’s had already hinted the alleged nuptials were not what they at first appeared to be.
The pal said: "This was not likely to be a formal wedding because Kate would have wanted all her family and friends there. It is much more likely to be a symbolic gesture to show everyone just how serious they are about each other." It was also reported that the model and the Babyshambles rocker were planning an official wedding in England on January 18, as the Thai ceremony would not have been legally binding in the UK.
