GARR RECOVERING FROM BRAIN ANEURYSM
TOOTSIE star TERI GARR is recovering after undergoing surgery to treat a brain aneurysm.
The 62-year-old was admitted to hospital on 21 December (06) when her 13-year-old daughter MOLLY couldn’t wake her up.
Her representative tells American publication People Garr is "recovering nicely" adding, "She’s alert. She’s sitting up. She’s talking. The prognosis is very, very good." Garr, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the late 1990s, was immediately brought to hospital where doctors performed a coil embolism.
The actress spent the holidays in hospital, with her two brothers at her bedside.
Her representative adds, "Her humour seems to be intact."
