Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and CAMERON DIAZ have ended their relationship, according to media reports in the US.
The singer spent the Christmas season at home in Tennessee surrounded by his close-knit family, while Diaz went skiing with girlfriends in Vail, Colorado.
Sources tell American publication the Star that the couple, who have dated since 2003, decided to go their separate ways in early December (06).
The source says, "They had been planning to be together in Tennessee with his folks, but he came out alone and she stayed in LA." On 23 December (06), Timberlake was see out with friends at Senses nightclub in Memphis, where he reportedly confirmed the spit to fellow revelers saying, "Me and Cameron? We’re done." And Timberlake isn’t wasting any time finding love again - pals claim the pop superstar met up with ex, VERONICA FINN, in his hometown of Millington.
Ironically, Finn, a real estate agent now living in Tampa, Florida, was the girl picked to replace another of Timberlake’s ex-loves, BRITNEY SPEARS, when she departed all-girl group INNOSENSE for a solo career.

BRITNEY SPEARS broke down in tears during a Christmas Day phone chat with her estranged husband KEVIN FEDERLINE, according to US reports.
Federline called to speak to wish the couple’s sons, SEAN PRESTON and JAYDEN JAMES, a Merry Christmas, but Spears couldn’t resist the temptation to have a private conversation with her ex.
And friends claim Spears became so emotional at one point, she burst into tears and told Federline how much she missed him.
One pal tells American publication Life & Style, "She told Kevin the holidays were hard and talking to him made things harder because she missed him.
"She was depressed over the holidays. At first, it was liberating for her to be free and single. But now she’s in this big new house in Beverly Hills, and it’s really lonely.
"She invites girlfriends over, and her mom and sister spend a lot of time there, but, at the end of the day, it’s just Britney and her babies.
"When she first separated from Kev, she partied like crazy to numb the pain.
Now the hurt is catching up with her."

JULIA ROBERTS and DANNY MODER let family and friends know all about their pregnancy surprise in Christmas cards they sent out last month (DEC06).

Oscar winner GEORGE CLOONEY enjoyed a low key Christmas with friends - after he entered into a pact not to celebrate the festive season. The 45-year-old decided to get away from it all at the Mexican beach resort of Cabo San Lucas, where he planned to have a good time without presents, carols or any of the trappings of the holidays. Instead, the big-hearted actor donated money to a charity. He explains, "I went down south with a couple of my friends because we said, ‘We’re sick of Christmas.’ "Nobody put on Christmas songs and we didn’t celebrate at all.

JESSICA SIMPSON’s father/manager JOE has hit back at reports he is furious that the Kennedy Center won’t reimburse him for $15,000 (£7,700) in stylist’s fees after his daughter was cut from a tribute to country music star DOLLY PARTON.
Jessica made headlines when she attempted to sing a rendition of Parton’s hit 9 TO 5 during the Kennedy Center Honors tribute and forgot the words.
She was subsequently cut from the TV broadcast last week (26DEC06), even though she taped an alternative version of the song once the show was over.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "She was cut from the show." Former tennis star CHRIS EVERT’s ex-husband ANDY MILL has given his blessing to her new relationship with golfer GREG NORMAN, even though Norman used to be his best friend.
Evert and Mill recently divorced after 18 years together and he insists he only wishes her the best.

AIRPLANE star ROBERT HAYS is lucky to be able to walk after a Christmas Eve (24DEC06) surfing accident in Hawaii almost left him with a severed spine.
The 59-year-old actor, who played TED STRIKER in the highflying cult comedy, fell awkwardly from his board during a winter vacation on Kauai and only his knowledge of spinal injuries and his determination not to end his life as a cripple saved him.
Pal MICKEY MILLER, who raced Hays to hospital after his fall, states the actor knew immediately what had happened and, although he was in agony, he knew what to do to keep his battered spine attached.
Miller tells US tabloid National Enquirer, "Somehow he knew to hold his neck rigid by gripping his head by his ears with both hands.
"The doctors told us that if he’d twisted his head a fraction, his spinal cord would have been severed."

US tabloid the National Enquirer has landed TOM HANKS in trouble after revealing all about the near-death Jeep accident he had while filming in Morocco that the actor was keen to keep from his wife RITA WILSON.
The Oscar winner was forced to leap from the vehicle as his driver lost control and the Jeep careered off a road and down a ravine.
After recovering from the accident, Hanks insisted the driver and everyone who found out about the incident keep it to themselves - because he didn’t want Wilson to find out.
The accident happened as Hanks was on his way to the set of CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR.
The Enquirer reports the actor’s driver attempted to perform a U-turn on a narrow mountain when the edge of the road gave way and he lost control of the vehicle. No one was hurt.

Actress ASHLEY JUDD is considering going back to college because she’s tired of lying about her qualifications.
The FRIDA star is often credited with fully graduating from the University of Kentucky but she merely passed through a human rights programme there.
She says, "I was a super-ambitious student so I had a major and four minors… I also did this honours programme curriculum… I graduated from that programme, which is why some people think I graduated from the university, but I never took Biology 101… I didn’t actually graduate." Judd has never given up hope of returning to university to complete her biology course and finally graduate.
She says, "I think I signed up for it four or five times… the school just leaves me alone. They’re like, `Whatever - she’ll just do it when she does it.’"

JENNIFER GARNER’s nice-guy ex MICHAEL VARTAN is being courted to play a sick serial killer in new horror movie WORST NIGHTMARES.
The ALIAS star is the favourite to land the killer role in producer ALAN ROBINSON’s new film, which has already landed the talents of GREG KINNEAR and BRIDGET MOYNAHAN.
In the film, Kinnear will play a celebrated writer who is lured into a trap to incriminate himself in the death of six murder victims who appear to be identical to the victims from his latest best-seller, according to movie website moviehole.net.
The serial killer murders each victim by using whatever their particular fear is.
The movie will shoot in Los Angeles this summer.

TOBEY MAGUIRE and fiancee JENNIFER MEYER have named their new daughter RUBY SWEETHEART in honour of Meyer’s grandmother who recently died.
The couple became engaged last April (06) and Meyer gave birth to a baby girl on 11 November (06).
He says, "Jen’s grandmother, who passed away recently, would always call her ‘Sweetheart.’ We named her that to honour her grandmother." But the SPIDERMAN star found the birth of his daughter a little daunting, but admits fatherhood is "completely indescribable".
He says, "Nobody really coached me on it. They say, ‘Ok, catch her! I’m like, ‘What do I do?’ I ended up just kind of putting my hand on her while the doctor put her on Mom’s belly."

TOOTSIE star TERI GARR is recovering after undergoing surgery to treat a brain aneurysm.
The 62-year-old was admitted to hospital on 21 December (06) when her 13-year-old daughter MOLLY couldn’t wake her up.
Her representative tells American publication People Garr is "recovering nicely" adding, "She’s alert. She’s sitting up. She’s talking. The prognosis is very, very good." Garr, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the late 1990s, was immediately brought to hospital where doctors performed a coil embolism.
The actress spent the holidays in hospital, with her two brothers at her bedside.
Her representative adds, "Her humour seems to be intact."

LL COOL J was hit hard by the recent death of mentor JAMES BROWN - as the late soul star was a key influence in the rapper’s career.
Brown passed away on Christmas Day (25DEC06) and LL Cool J, real name JAMES TODD SMITH, was proud that he had the chance to present the music legend with a special award at the Kennedy Center Honors several years ago.
He explains, "He was a huge influence on my music. I sampled a lot of his music over the years.
"He was definitely someone that I respected tremendously. He was the godfather and we should all respect him as an icon.
"At the end of the day if I could have 10 per cent of the influence on music that James Brown had, I’d be doing good. He’s the man."

An enraged KID ROCK tried to get physical with TOMMY LEE on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas after being taunted by the wild rocker over his split from PAMELA ANDERSON.
Kid Rock, real name ROBERT RITCHIE, and Lee have both been married to the star, with Rock splitting from Anderson in November last year (06). Rock had reportedly been receiving calls from Lee taunting him about his impending divorce from the former BAYWATCH star, and attempted to confront him at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel.
A source tells PageSix.com, "Kid is divorcing Pam Anderson, but he heard Tommy was hooking up with her, and got all riled up.
"So he went over at 6am with two bodyguards, and began kicking down what he thought was Tommy’s door.
"Only it wasn’t - Kid found himself staring at some poor, startled family. He signed an autograph for them as security arrived, then bolted over to the Paradise strip club." Lee’s representative confirms, "Tommy is aware that this incident occurred, but wasn’t at the time as he was staying on another floor."
