NORTON BREAKS BACK ON FILM SET
Actor EDWARD NORTON broke his back in three different places after falling from a horse while filming THE PAINTED VEIL in China.
Norton and co-star NAOMI WATTS were filming in Beijing and Shanghai and also in the southern region of China for the lush mountain landscapes.
He explains, "One of those horses chucked me off pretty badly. I broke my spine in like three places. I broke three vertebrae in my back.
"I felt like my back was horribly wrenched but I sort of assumed I was OK, and I didn’t actually find out I had broken it until I went to Hong Kong." Norton is now back to normal and credits rest, massages and swimming with helping him recover.
