Dita Von Teese says she loves stripping.
The burlesque performer, who is married to rocker Marilyn Manson, insists the best part of her job is baring her flesh and she has slammed women in her industry who refuse to take their clothes off.
Dita said: "I hear people who are trying to do burlesque say, ‘Well, we won’t take off our clothes because that’s not classy’. I think that’s offensive and disrespectful to stars from the past like Gypsy Rose Lee.
"I’m trying to set the record straight about what burlesque was: it’s not just about a style or a look. It’s about stripping." But the singer, actress and model insists she only bares her body while she is working.
Dita said: "No one has seen me out at a party having had too much to drink showing my boobs or butt. I’m not that wild kind of girl. I’m uncomfortable wearing a miniskirt. It’s about what’s appropriate."
