Clear DayPiercing protest
A Mexican man hooked his pierced body onto a tree in protest against tattoo and piercing discrimination.
The man, who did not reveal his identity, joined fellow demonstrators by stripping off in Mexico City to show his tattoos and piercings.
He then hung himself by his piercings on hooks tied to a wooden frame which was suspended from a tree.
One of the protest organisers, Dante Salomo, said: "In Mexico a tattooed person is the victim of all kinds of discrimination, they don’t get good jobs and are mistreated everywhere." His protest shocked passers-by, but the man was unhurt.
