Bungled burglar
A clumsy Canadian robber was arrested after falling through the roof of a store he was attempting to rob.
The man entered the store in Edmonton, Alberta and demanded the clerk give him money.
But before the cash register had been opened the impatient robber hit it with an aluminium bat – jamming it shut.
While he tried to force the till open the clerk escaped and found some back up.
The group then managed to block and lock both the front and back exits.
It a last-ditch attempt to make his get-away, the robber climbed onto the roof, but he was too heavy and came crashing through the store’s ceiling.
Lisa Lammi, of the Edmonton police, said: "He seemed to be having some complications along the way."
